Founded in 1987 by studio glass artists Loretta H. Yang and Chang Yi, LIULI has grown from a modest workshop in Taiwan to Asia’s leading crystal art brand. Liuli is the phonetic spelling of the Han Dynasty term for glass art and is used to honor the Chinese heritage and culture. Records show

that thousands of years ago, the Chinese were highly skilled in pâte de verre but the craft was subsequently forgotten. Yang and Chang revived the craft and reintroduced it into the international arena. LIULI has exhibited in over 30 countries and can be found in eminent museums worldwide.

Inspired by the Four Gentlemen—plum blossom, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum—the motifs reflect the harmony of the four seasons. Drawing from the scattered-perspective technique of classical ink wash painting, the floral imagery unfolds naturally across each curved surface, uniting the teapot and cups in one graceful, sculptural landscape.

Six golden koi rise together in an endless figure-eight, each one carrying the momentum of the next. Handcrafted using the ancient lost-wax casting process, their flowing movement and radiant color capture the legendary moment of transformation.

Inspired by the timeless Chinese legend of The Fish Leaping Over the Dragon Gate, this sculpture tells the story of golden carp that swim tirelessly against powerful currents. According to the legend, only those with the courage and perseverance to leap over the Dragon Gate are transformed into majestic dragons. It is a story of determination, resilience, and achieving the extraordinary through unwavering effort.

More than an individual triumph, this artwork celebrates the strength found in moving forward together. A Flying Jewel, Captured in Crystal 💙
Known as the "Flying Jewel," the kingfisher is admired for its brilliant royal blue feathers and shimmering layered colors. Recreating its beauty in crystal, however, was one of LIULI's greatest artistic challenges.
After three sculptural designs and nearly 30 kiln test-firings, LIULI artisans perfected the kingfisher's vibrant, layered colors using precise color-placement techniques.
The craftsmanship is so extraordinary that the kingfisher is ready to come to life and take flight.

Discover our New Arrivals - Evergreen Mountain Spirit 🏔️

Yin and Yang are expressed through nature rather than separate symbols. The mountain represents Yang through its strength and rising form, while its flowing curves reflect Yin softness and flexibility.
Inspired by Taiji and traditional Chinese landscapes, its shape resembles the Chinese character for “mountain” (山).
The pine tree represents Yang strength and life, balanced by the stone reflects Yin through its calm, stable, and grounding presence.
Along the mountain slopes, red camellias bloom like small flames, bringing warmth, vitality, and renewal.
Flowing lines inspired by qi connect these elements, creating a peaceful landscape where strength and softness, movement and stillness, exist in harmony.
