📣It’s Shout-Out Sunday!

This week’s employee spotlight features Front Counter Team Leader and Pro Shop Operator, JP Bryan!

✨ JP joined the team on October 31, 2019, with the initial intention of working seasonally, as he spent his summers working as a golf course pro. After that first season, though, he never did go back to the golf course—other than as a player!

In the summer of 2021, JP attended ball drilling school and became active in the Legacy Pro Shop, where he takes great pride in assisting bowlers with their equipment needs and is always willing to help out with last-minute adjustments. It’s not uncommon for JP to stop what he’s doing because he heard a bowler’s thumb sticking, and the next thing you know, he’s back in the Pro Shop sanding that ball!

A natural emcee, JP has the voice of a radio announcer and loves to hop on the mic to wish someone a happy birthday, encourage the crowd during the Strike Ball Challenge, or announce door prizes during events. You name it, and he’ll announce it!

Speaking of events, JP has been instrumental in pulling off our annual New Year’s Eve celebration, one of our busiest nights of the year. If he’s not at the front counter or in the Pro Shop, you may even find him in the back working on a machine!

It’s JP’s history of professionalism, his enthusiasm for the business and the sport, his ability to step into any role, and the top-notch customer service he provides to our bowlers and guests that make him such a valuable leader on our team!

Thank you, JP, for all you do! 💙🎳

đź“ŁIt's shout-out Sunday!
This week's employee spotlight features Alex Griffith!
✨ Alex began training at the front counter on September 12, 2022. He was a whiz on the computer and had an eagerness to learn; and it wasn’t long before he was assigning lanes, handing out rental shoes, and eventually taking care of minor machine calls as well. Despite never having been much of a bowler, Alex joined a League and turned out to be a natural; collecting both a 300 game and an 812 series while bowling two handed!🎉 (A skill he now helps others to learn.) A full-time college student, Alex works part-time while attending Kent State University; where he will graduate next spring with a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management! Not to worry, even after graduating he plans to continue working some at the Lanes, maintaining the bonds he has built with bowlers and coworkers alike. Alex is a smart, talented, friendly, and sometimes ornery young man, who refers to us as his 2nd family. The feeling is mutual Alex, we love having you here! Thank you for all you do!
