Dear Coshocton - Well, Mother Nature decided to show her ugly side, and we all got soaked to the bone. However, as soon as the last thundercell passes through, we will still fire the rockets. If you came and went home, we understand you disappointment. We are just as disappointed, wanting to provide a terrific show. If your still on the hill waiting, thanks for your patience.

Thousands of eyes will look to the skies Sunday night to witness an annual tradition: Independence Day fireworks.

The 2016 Fireworks display will be at 10:00 p.m. on Sunday July 3rd. Miss Jennifer's Dance studio will be performing 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. and the Coshocton County Sheriff's Department SWAT, SRT and K-9 units will host a demonstration from 6:15 to 6:45. Then we have Bryan Lewis taking the stage at 8:00 p.m. to provide music for visitors! It will be awesome!

We are asking for a $5/car donation at the gate, and have made special arrangements with REACT/Sheriff Tim Rogers and ODOT to accommodate up to 8,000 vehicles this year with special traffic patterns to ease getting in and out of the airport. The best view of the show will be the airport.

Please plan ahead and arrive by 9:30 to guarantee yourself a parking spot at the airport, gates open up at 5:00 p.m. It is going to be a great show and you definitely will want to be there to see it!

Event organizers for the Wingstock Concert at Coshocton Airport Amphitheater have cancelled this evening’s concert due to the projected weather forecast.

The cancellation does not affect the Wings Over Coshocton Air Show at Richard Downing Airport.
