Cerren Ered

Cerren Ered Cerren Ered has been a center of Occult Studies and Paganism for over 40 years. and we were not the first to arrive. hear the sounds of the brook..

Cerren Ered was originally founded in 1981 as the homeland and Coven-stead of The Children of the Dawn, a Wiccan Mystical group initiated in the late 60's. Soon after coming to the valley it became apparent that we had been led to a far more amazing place than we could possibly
have anticipated.. Shrouded in its deep woods lay a Portal, a Well of Seeing, a Well of Vision, a Gateway to worlds unima

ginable! The Portal attracted to itself
denizens from both sides of the Veil.. and we soon discovered ourselves to be the Gatekeepers.. Throughout the early years we functioned as the Initiates who guarded and tended the Shrine. We soothed the Dragons with our songs and chants and sought to keep them pacified. We opened
the gates and beckoned to others of like mind and heart to join us in celebration and Magick. Our whole focus was the Magick of the sacred space, and its mystery nurtured the seeds that were planted.. Over the years things have evolved and changed as things do.. The deep woods thinned, the population grew, buildings and lights crowded out the deep darkness and solitude.. Drumming and dancing became the new Voice of the People of the Valley. Things have changed
ever so much since those early days.. But under it all, in the bones of the earth, the Magick still remains. My message to the future ones is to sit peacefully in the Glade, eyes closed.. the speech of the birds.. listen to the Voice of the mountains. Sing a song of reverence and harmony and feel the Magical Waves pouring forth, and you will glimpse a bit of what was there waiting those many years ago. Bright Blessings, Sior

Our Wheel continues to turn and brings us to BELTANE.!

Merry Festival of Third Flower, the last of the three fertility festivals. The Day of Rebirth and Renewal. The Sacred Fire Festival. We move from the Time of Balance in to the Time of Union, Blessed be the coming together of the Forces of Universe, Opposite and Complementary. The Time of Planting becomes the Time of Germination and Growth. It is the time of the Young Horned God and the Maiden Huntress, The Goddess of the Fields and the Lord of the Sun. Winter is gone, Spring has peaked, and now Summer begins.

May Beltane find your seeds well planted. May you know love. May the Union of the Earth and Sky fill you with energy for your own renewal. May you feel the power welling up from the Earth and down from the Sun, creating life. May your livestock and livelihood be protected. May the morning dew wash away anything that would harm you and may it keep beauty in your world. May the flames of the coming Summer fill you with the creativity you desire. May the Faerie treat you kindly. May the growing Sun bless you.

Take time to bring in the May. Bless the soil which you wish to be fecund for the coming year... Smell the first blooms of summer... Eat some strawberries. Break an oatcake. Imagine the Balefires burning away that which holds you back and give yourself permission to be a little crazy for a few days. Notice the greening of the Earth… Leap over the fire and take the flame inside you. Tell stories of those loves lost and of their rebirth. Tie a ribbon, seashell, or note as a wish on a tree limb or bush branch. Wash your face in the dew. Crown yourself in flowers. Find a symbol of death and remove it from your life. Do something decadent to show the world or at least yourself, you made it through. Give a gift to the Fae. Consider the love that CREATES the world around you. Celebrate LIFE.!

Wrap your ribbons around the pole whose energy you wish to see in your life and hold on tight because Summer is a comin' in.....
