I’ve been so busy with our home and getting ready for our family to arrive for the month of August. We are so excited to see our granddaughter. This year I didn’t get a chance to do much sewing for her. I had a few moments today so I made her own little placemat and napkin set for meals at the table. Hope she likes it. Not my best work as I was in a rush, but she is three and I don’t think she will notice. 😂

The movers came and put all our furniture back on our first floor! Our home’s not even close to being back together completely, but after 8 months wow did it ever feel amazing to sit down in my favorite chair again yesterday!
Starley was pretty pleased about being able to hangout in the family room as well.

Thanks to my cat who loves to wake me up way before I want to, I have lots more blocks finished.

Not spending much time sewing these days. Our floors and trim are done, now it’s time to paint and start putting the house back together.
I sneak an hour early in the morning to sew. Gives me just enough time to make one flag block. 😜

It’s been a crazy week! We had to vacate the house for three days while the floor guys put on the finish/sealer. Wow that stuff smells awful!😣
I packed up my 250th Freedom quilt project and my Singer Featherweight in our trailer. I trimmed all 144 HST and finished two of my blocks.
We finally got to move back upstairs last night. SEW, I will have my studio back. YAY!

I spent the the 4th of July weekend working on my 250th Year of Freedom quilt. I have everything cut out, I've sewn all my HST and next on the list is to trim all 144 of them to the size needed. That should take me a minute! LOL
