The energies of the sky gods lately has been very push/pull with the Full Moon in Aquarius, Sun square Uranus, Mercury Rx, & Chiron in Aries. The reason why I want to highlight Saturn in Retrograde (June 30-November 15) is because whatever area in your chart Saturn is in- will be hit with delays & problems that may help you to see a different direction. It is important in this time not to act from a place of impulse or shame. Saturn is showing us where we can make long term improvements not trying to diminish us entirely (kinda like a stern Dad). If we are humble enough to accept our mistakes we will find help or a new opportunity in the area that is being challenged. This time can show you who you truly are as a person. Will you choose divisive confusion or a commitment to healthy change? For some this may be minor & not as life changing- it truly depends on the work you have previously done on yourself or how well you know yourself & cycles. I would also look to where Uranus is in your chart to see connected themes of this retrograde as well. You may also be implementing a new daily habit or change that can eventually switch the paradigm of your life for the better. Be kind to yourself as you’re integrating this new thing. Frustration can be easy when we want to get to that new life- right now. Taking breaks & breathing through the pain is necessary right now. The things we are changing now will set the tone for the next 14 years.

This placement sounds scarier than it is. Mostly, the 22nd degree is about having a disadvantage in something at a younger age & then overcoming that disadvantage with time, discipline, & commitment. In the end, you get to experience a lot more advantage than the people who made fun of you because, you were forced to do the hard work.

Mercury goes into Aquarius February 5th. It will be bringing us out of hibernation/analysis paralysis & into observation & wanting to socialize or get another persons opinion. Your mind may be focused on new projects/goals that are brewing into 2024. This would be a beneficial time to think about where you see yourself in 5 years & what that certain vision may require of you. Will it require patience? Planning? Better knowledge in a certain area? Asking others to join in for help? Aquarius always has a crystalline vision for what they see into the future. Be careful to fall down the depressive hole of conspiracy theories & how the world is crumbling. Aquarius Mercury will help us feel reborn & ready for the new world. Just make sure you’re ready for it with the right perspectives.

Venus enters into Capricorn on January 23rd inching us slowly forward into the winter months. Over the next four weeks partnerships & having a vision or goal for something you’ve always wanted to accomplish in your relationships will be highlighted here or you may have something pointed out to you by a partner or friend that you hadn’t noticed before & need to work on. Regardless, try to understand that the “flaws” are simply things to work on to enhance the relationships with people around you not judgements or fingers being pointed at you. Looking into your relationship attachment style or embracing shadow work to heal the old parts of you that need to be released will be encouraged energetically this next month as well. May the odds be ever in your favor! 💚

On January 12th, 2024 the asteroid of marriage & commitment Juno (The asteroid of marriage & commitment) goes retrograde into Virgo. For the next few months it could be tempting to pick apart our close relationships & scrutinize our partners actions. Remember that growth is important but perfection is impossible. It would be wise to ponder where we hurt or judge unnecessarily with ourselves & others.

So the energy at this time is VERY potent. Consider it so potent that a mental fasting-would be advisable. It will be important to notice the intention you have for people, places, & things. If you notice yourself veering off in the wrong direction-gently notice & correct yourself. It is a beautiful time to meditate daily (even 5 min is enough) or take a quick walk to get fresh air. Be kind to yourself if you can’t see the bigger picture just yet. Take time to put yourself in the energy of YOUR personal day of victory. What it will feel like to conquer that beast you’ve been working so hard to defeat? What will that day FEEL like in your heart? Don’t worry about how far away it is…or what obstacles lie ahead. Focus on the feeling in your heart when you win. That’s the feeling that will pull you into the most success during this portal. We’ve got this! 🙌
