Our 40th Anniversary Reunion starts TODAY! We are so excited to see all those who are able to join us in person

IMPORTANT REUNION INFO AT A GLANCE:

THE FINAL CONCERT IS ON SATURDAY, JUNE 28th at 7PM at the FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IN CORVALLIS AND IS FREE (donations welcome), so no tickets needed! Also we are working to be able to stream the concert on Facebook :)
Concert attire is all black.
All social events (Thursday dinner, Friday lunch, and Friday evening ice cream social are FAMILY FRIENDLY. Children, spouses/partners, even parents are welcome! Just make sure you include them in your RSVP numbers on the form above (or have your parents fill out the form themselves).

REUNION SCHEDULE:
Thursday, June 26th:
6:30pm-9pm- Welcome dinner at Carol's house
Friday, June 27th:
9am-12pm- Rehearsal at First Presbyterian Church, Corvallis (114 SW 8th St, Corvallis- parking lot and entrance on 9th St)
12pm-1pm- Social lunch at First Presbyterian Church. Lunch will be provided.
1pm-4pm- Rehearsal at First Presbyterian Church, Corvallis
6:30pm-8pm- Ice Cream social at Avery Park Lions Shelter (1200 SW Avery Park Dr, Corvallis- on the southside of the park the BIG shelter close to the train). Ice cream and desserts will be provided. FREE HVCC merchandise table (CDs, shirts, pictures and more!).
Saturday, June 28th:
9am-12pm- Rehearsal at First Presbyterian Church, Corvallis (114 SW 8th St, Corvallis- parking lot and entrance on 9th St)
3pm-5pm- Rehearsal at First United Methodist Church, Corvallis (1165 NW Monroe Ave, Corvallis- parking lot in between 12th and 13th St entrance on 12th St due to construction at Monroe entrance)
7pm- Final HVCC concert at First United Methodist Church

If you are unable to join us--We are so sad to see that you cannot celebrate HVCC’s 40 years with us in-person. Please know that your presence and voice will be missed.

We would love it if you would share a video with us-- It can be a message to Carol, your favorite HVCC memory, what HVCC means to you, how HVCC impacted your life (as a child or an adult) or anything else you would like to say about HVCC.

Video requirements:
Please make sure your video is taken on your phone in “portrait” view. Keep it on the shorter side, as we will be putting multiple of these videos together to create a longer video. You can submit more than one video, as many of you may have multiple stories you would like to share. We would like to thank everyone for their patience regarding our upcoming reunion! It's been a little chaotic over here and we haven't gotten our correspondence out as quickly as we would have liked. Carol had a super difficult time choosing music, but it has been figured it out. We're waiting to receive one last piece from her (sometime today) before we send them out. We will also have additional information with that as well. Thank you all so much!

To Our Heart of the Valley Family,

It is with great sadness that the Board of Directors of HVCC announces that Heart of the Valley Children’s Choirs will be suspending operations effective this summer. This is not a decision that the Board has reached lightly. Since the COVID pandemic, we have experienced lower singer numbers and marginal financial performance in addition to other factors that have influenced this outcome. It is our understanding that Dr. Sandy Babb may create a new choir associated with OSU so that children in the Corvallis area will continue to have the opportunity to sing in a choral setting. While we are sad to suspend our choral activities after 40 years of wonderful singing, we are announcing that the organization will be going in a new and exciting direction. We will be announcing our plans in the coming months, so stay tuned! Thank you for the many years of wonderful memories.
