Mackenzie Rolf - Wallendia / Understudy for Jordan

Mackenzie is excited to be making her acting debut in "Island Song". She was a part of the technical crew in South Salem High School's production of "Thoroughly Modern Millie", and has worked as a musician in the Salem area for 4 years. Mackenzie is a student at Chemeketa Community College, and will be transferring to PSU in the fall to complete her BA in Vocal Performance and Psychology.

Seonaid Barngrover - Jordan

This is Seonaíd’s first show with Black Rose Theater Company. She is in her last semester in law school. Some of Seonaíd’s favorite shows have been Thoroughly Modern Millie, It’s a Wonderful life: Live Radio Show, and Gypsy.

MEET THE ISLANDERS 🌇🗽

Donovan Cassell - Will

Donovan is excited to be a part of Island Song, and ecstatic to get to work with this fun crew again. His recent credits include playing multiple characters in Majestic Theatre's I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change (2020), Sam in Corvallis High School's Mamma Mia (2020), and Henry in Majestic Theatre's Next to Normal (2019). Donovan works as a video producer and actor in Eugene, OR, and can be found playing the character of COVID-19 in Lane Transit District's "Don't Invite COVID - Follow the Four" ad campaign. He'd like to thank his amazing family for always supporting his performing dreams, and never missing a show.

Laura Blackwell - Timo

Laura has a BFA and MFA in Acting, was most recently seen in I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. She is also the Social Media Manager for Albany Civic Theater. Laura currently works at The Natty Dresser and as the receptionist at Conifer Wellness. In her limited spare time, she enjoys a good happy hour and petting any dog she comes across.

Kasper O’Neill- Caroline

Kasper has been a part of a lot of productions in the Willamette Valley. Their most recent productions were I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change in 2020 with the Majestic Theatre, and A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder at the Albany Civic Theater. Kasper has a big love for animals and their two dogs are named Fozee and Rubin.

MEET THE ISLANDERS 🌇🗽

Kent Wilson- The Pianist/Musical Director

Kent is excited to be a part of Black Rose Theatre Company’s inaugural production! A Washington native, he has been involved musically for 30+ productions in the Willamette Valley. He also spent two seasons at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival as a musician. He is currently a music and theater teacher in Salem.

MEET THE ISLANDERS 🌇🗽

Jacob Birchard- Stosh: A Hipster

Jacob has been doing theatre in the Willamette Valley for about five years now. Some of his favorite roles include: Sebastian in The Majestic Theatre’s The Little Mermaid, Feldzieg in The Drowsy Chaperone at The Russell Tripp, Ensemble/The Inspector in Albany Civic Theater’s A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, and Owl in Winnie the Pooh at Linn-Benton Community College. In his spare time, Jacob likes to spend time with his friends, and play D&D and board games.
