You didn't think we'd forget your favorite event of the year, did you?? For the third year, the only shark dissection with live music accompaniment in the world returns to Corvallis โ both bigger and smaller than ever!
Cult-favorite Big Fish Fest III brings bigger sharks, bigger fun, and a bigger stage, with this year's program including a comparative dissection of a shark and a bird.
On September 12, the PRAx TAIL-gate (yes, we think we're pretty punny ๐ฆ) kicks off a day of festivities at 12:30 p.m. Come prepared for live music, local food trucks and bars with drinks for purchase.
Check out massive paintings of sharks and underwater creatures in our exhibition, The Water Column, mingle with friends and explore OSU Big Fish Lab's activities and interactions.
Doors to Detrick Hall open at 2 p.m. for GA seat selection before the dissections begin at 2:30 p.m. Our formal programming ends at 4 p.m., giving avid event-goers the chance to attend OSU Football's home opener versus top-ranked Texas Tech at 4:30 p.m.
