Black Mountain Tattoo has proudly served Cortez and the Four Corners region since 2005. Founded by owner and artist Robert Smith, the shop was built on a simple philosophy: create quality tattoos, treat people right, and stand behind every piece of artwork that leaves the shop.
We specialize in custom tattooing, including black and gray realism, fine line work, traditional designs, western-inspired artwork, cover-ups, and large-scale custom projects. Whether you’re looking for a small meaningful tattoo or a full sleeve, every piece is designed with attention to detail and a commitment to lasting quality.
