Community Holiday Celebration Announced

The Other Place will host a festive community event on Friday, December 13th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, featuring a joyous evening of caroling, cocoa, and cookies. The renowned Fever Jazz Quartet will perform live music starting at 6:30 PM, creating a warm and melodious atmosphere.

This free family-friendly celebration welcomes guests of all ages to enjoy live music, sing-along opportunities, seasonal refreshments, and community spirit. While admission is complimentary, donations to support the musicians are gratefully accepted.

Attendees can look forward to a heartwarming experience filled with holiday cheer, music, and shared community joy. The event promises to be a delightful opportunity for neighbors and friends to come together and celebrate the season.

Jordan is an Arizona Rose veteran with many acting, singing and technical credits. Participating in shows such as "Rock on Broadway", "Jesus Christ Superstar", Javert in "Les Miserables", innumerable choir concerts, and, his greatest role; making everyone laugh at all times by being the (self-proclaimed) funniest man in the room.

𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐓 - Stephanie Howell

Stephanie is thrilled to be performing in Music an Comedy Tonight with the Arizona Rose!

Her acting repertoire includes roles like Margot in Dial M for Murder, Corie in Barefoot in the Park, Aunt Bella in Lost in Yonkers, and one of three performers in the Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged.

Beyond acting, Stephanie has successfully ventured into directing, overseeing productions such as Same Time Next Year with the Oro Valley Theater Company and Lend Me a Tenor, Dashing Through the Snow, and Crimes of the Heart with the Arizona Rose Theatre.

𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐓 - Erin Recuparo

Erin started her artistic career at the age of 5 performing and studying in the fields of drama, dance, & music. Being born into a creative family offered Erin the opportunity to pursue her creative passions. She studied her craft through The Arizona Rose School of Performing Arts and various art schools/studios for nearly 25 years. In addition to years of training, Erin also has extensive experience as a performer. She is a performer and resident choreographer with The Arizona Rose Theatre in Tucson, AZ. Some of her favorite roles as a performer have included: Lucy in "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown", Mary Magdalene in "Jesus Christ Superstar", and Jo March in "Little Women- The Musical". Erin is also the lead female vocalist with Marana Big Phat Band, Oro Valley Jazz Band, and Fever Jazz Quartet as well as guest vocalist with Big Band Sounds Of Green Valley and Retro Swing 7. She can also be seen around the Tucson area in various tribute shows such as "A Cool, Cool Evening - Tribute To Bing Crosby & Judy Garland." Erin has recorded 5 studio albums and has taken her performing outside of Tucson to entertainment centers including Las Vegas, Nevada and Hollywood, California where she was nominated for the NOHO Arts District Award for Best Lead Actress In A Musical. Erin is extremely excited to be a part of this production!

𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐓 - Gabe Rivero

Gabe is one of Tucson's funniest (looking) actors. An alumnus of the University of Arizona, Gabe graduated with a degree in film and television and so has naturally gravitated towards theater work, as far away from a camera as he can get. Long time friend of the Arizona Rose, Gabe is excited to lend his talents to another performance.

𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐓 - Kate Scally

Kate is excited to perform with the AZ Rose Theatre again. She most recently played Moth in The Rogue Theatre’s production of Love’s Labours Lost, and Mrs. Phelps/Ms. Honey (u/s) in Saguaro City’s production of Matilda. She teaches voice and piano out of her home studio and teaches all grade levels of music at the Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind. She has performed and music directed for years with the Arizona Rose Theatre Company. She has a B.M. in Vocal Performance from the Eastman School of Music, a B.A. in English from University of Rochester, and an M.M. in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from Penn State University. Favorite past roles include Philippa in Babette’s Feast, Susanna in Le Nozze Di Figaro, Poppea in L’Incoronazione di Poppea, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, Luisa in The Fantasticks, Rona Lisa Peretti in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Beth in Little Women.
