Another piece I love seeing in my home gallery every day, but I can’t keep them all.
This piece was inspired by a beautiful photograph of wild horses on the Virginia Range in Northern Nevada, many thanks to Deborah Peterson-Sutherland for permission to use it.
We handmade a custom wooden frame for this one. Shipping is starting to get very expensive, but I have included it in the price on Etsy for now

EXCITING NEWS!!!!

We are excited to announce that our Miss Teen Rodeo USA pageant will be held in January in conjunction with our Miss Rodeo USA Pageant.

Miss Teen Rodeo USA will continue to reside over the International Finals Youth Rodeo in July.

We are also pleased to announce that Miss Teen Rodeo USA 2025-2026 Violet Camerino has agreed to extend her contract until January!

I struggled a bit with this piece, letting it sit on the easel for a few days. That helped me come back to it with fresh eyes and make the final changes. Then I couldn’t decide if it was art show worthy. It is on the small side, and portraits sometimes are overlooked in favor of larger splashy pieces. But it worked out well, lol. Thank you for putting on a nice spring show and supporting area artists!
