“Treasure Runner” found a new home today! All of us at Corrales Bosque Gallery love to watch someone discover that the piece of art needs to come home with them and make that happen. Lynne Patton is the artist and in this series that includes native pottery, she always writes the name of the native artist on the back. She says she knows she can’t make anything look just like their work but appreciates their inspiration. Stop by the gallery to find the art that speaks to you. We’re open Wednesdays through Mondays from 11-5 and closed on Tuesdays.

The Corrales Bosque Gallery is pleased to present guest artist Paul Rodenhauser and his exquisite paintings inspired by the colors and textures of New Mexico's natural beauty. Please join us at his opening reception on Aug. 2nd from 1-3pm. This is a special First Sunday for the gallery as we debut the paintings of our newest artists, Stuart Hamilton and Carol Mell. All the artists brought in new work this week. We would love to share it with you this Sunday and during our regular hours Wednesday-Mondays from 11-5.
There's lots of new things to see, so stop on by!

Calling all of our wild kings out there. This magnificent monarch presides over our Wild Things Wall at the gallery this month. You can probably feel the distant rumble of his roar if you step outside today — he’s stirring up quite a bit of wind today in the village, which we hope brings us some welcome rain!

Acrylic on canvas by Victoria Mauldin.

On display through the end of the month.

Who would you be if you didn’t have to be you? We all have an inner alter ego. A secret subversive side. A woulda coulda shoulda wish that we daydream about but would NEVER. A life goal we’re too shy, too cautious, too timid to pursue. Well, you’re in luck. The patron saint of wild hairs is granting you permission to let that genie out of the bottle for 24 hours. Test drive what coulda, shoulda, would been and see if you actually have what it takes. The keys are in the jar. Reach inside…and bon voyages.
