Humor Has It CC Humor Has It is an improve comedy show with 4-5 contestants and a host Host will manage game, introduce comedians.

4-5 comedians doing situational comedy, using props, suggestions from the audience and commands from the host; using piano comedians will make up songs about topics suggested. Audience will write suggestions down on a sheet before the show or yell them out when prompted by host.

Come Audition for Corpus Christi’s newest Improvisational troupe!
AUDITIONS: October 1 & 2, 2013 at 6:30pm
Aurora Arts Theatre
5635 Everhart Rd., Corpus Christi, Texas
Requirements: 18 and older, funny, witty, entertaining, & hilarious!
You don't have to be a comedian but you must be funny! You will be asked to expand upon given situations and scenarios using your improvisational skills. Scenes will reference themes that include current/foreign affairs, sports, history, etc. In addition, props and audience suggestions may be incorporated. Comedians auditioning will be rated on their responses and chemistry with the other comedians. Singing is a plus but not a requirement. Five comedians will be chosen to be a part of Humor Has It CC’s improvisational troupe - 4 will be in the lineup and the 5th will be a reserve on a rotating schedule. Selected comedians must be available for rehearsals and shows during evening hours and on weekends- a more detailed schedule of rehearsal times will be available at auditions. Shows will be held once a month on Thursday evenings. In addition, it is our hope to designate 5 Saturday performances one month out of the year. All contestants must be comfortable with humor that may be suggestive and/or contain adult situations. Humor Has It CC is a variety comedy show that has every intention of making people laugh while maintaining the integrity and values of our organization.
