A Cano Show Corpus Christi Music Scene, Bands I booked/ Bands I may Book...etc, I've been booking shows on/off here in Corpus Christi since about 1988.

Started out as just something to do with friends in High School now more a labor of love for live music. Some may remember me from a collective known as Unified Society, Whippersnapper or The Record Hole now just going as ))) A Cano Show. Former Black Flag vocalist Henry Rollins has revealed that he and his longtime friend Ian MacKaye (Fugazi, Minor Threat) have been working together on a “great project”. According to Rollins, he and MacKaye went to a studio in Washington DC where they worked on a four-song session, and he is currently working on the artwork for the record.

Henry Rollins wrote:

"Weeks ago, I journeyed it to DC in order to work on a great project. Ian MacKaye and I went to Inner Ear Studios, where we made our first records decades ago and mixed a four song session with the great Don Zientara at the board. This is the same studio, where the Teen Idles, Minor Threat, Bad Brains, and many others recorded. It was amazing to be back there with Ian and Don. Part way through the mix, none other than Eddie Janney, he of the Untouchables, Rites Of Spring, One Last Wish, Happy Go Licky, Skewbald and other great bands joined us. The session benefited greatly by his presence. As to the tracks, I had them mastered several days ago, and I’m now working on the layout and design for the record. When it’s ready, I’ll let you know. We are extremely excited by this one."

Good news for fans of Dave Edmunds!

From his wife, Cici Edmunds:

Fantastic News About My Beloved Husband Dave Edmunds ❤️ of 40 years. He was allowed home on a home visit from Hospital. After his long month stay after suffering a major cardiac arrest and horrifically dying in my arms. As you all kindhearted human soul's know he was resurrected by a miracle and amazing medical team. Myself and my nurse. Amazing news everyone! He did so well on the home visit. He's allowed to stay here at home if my nurses look after us both
Yeah ! I can't express my relief and my gratitude to all of you who have left such lovely posts of support and prayers 🙏. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️. I'll keep you all updated on here. It's looking positive ✨️. He's cracking jokes and walking short distances. Very short. But one has to start somewhere. He's doing great ! Hopefully he'll be Rocking and Rolling in no time.
