CAA members learned about the skill and precision needed in the process of creating neon designs. Mark Powers and Sam Gomez from Powers Neon in Corona have been designing and bending glass for over 30 years and gave a great presentation at CAA’sJune General Membership meeting. A familiar sight in Corona is the neon sign at Bear Wheel and Alignment on 6th St. in Corona, one of Sam’s many creations. Their expertise is available for custom designs and repairs.
https://www.powers-neon.com/ Artist demonstrations at the General meetings are a benefit of membership in the Corona Art Association. These meetings, held on the second Tuesday each month are open to members and prospective members.
