"Above all, be the heroine of your own life!"

This 16 x 20" canvas art is a great addition for the special woman in your life. Predominantly chocolate brown with accents of island green. She has 3-D elements with textured circles, book page flowers and acrylic jeweled ribbon. I adorned her with book pages cut into hearts and randomly placed through out. I accented these cut outs with island green and the chocolate brown. I also added a postage stamped themed France post card. I then featured chocolate hearts stenciled through out as well. The flowers are made from book pages with a zebra striped center and a green acrylic jeweled ribbon as the stem. This would surely bring a smile to the woman in your life. This piece has a framed back and can be hung on the wall or simply placed against it.

This beautiful pink and teal 16 x 20" canvas mulit-media piece would be a great addition to your home. She is adorned with teal and pink butterflies, acrylic jewels and much more. The canvas background has been covered with book pages to give it an antiqued and romantic look. The words "beauty, courage, inspire, imagine and charm are on bright white placards and alternate between diva pink and island green so they really pop on the beige background. I framed an antiqued map post card with a black scrolled frame that has been highlighted with the diva pink and island green to pull the colors together. I finished off the piece with teal and pink acrylic jeweled ribbon to give it some more bling. This piece has a framed back so it will be easy to either hang or place against a wall.

Have a special woman in your life? This could be the perfect addition to her home. It's a 16" x 20" canvas with muted diva pink background. But don't let the diva fool you. I muted her colors so that she doesn't scream at you. She has separate placards for each word "goddess -noun a woman of extraordinary beauty and charm" on the watered down diva pink painted book pages. I added 3 flowers made from the same book pages and gave each one a zebra striped center with little jewel droplets on random petals. The flowers are growing from a light grey and white box that has a light pink glittered embroidered design. I added random pink hearts and dragonflies made from pink flower scrapbook paper. This would be a great addition to any woman's art collection. Feminine without being over powering . This piece has a framed back so it can easily be hung or leaned against the wall whichever you would prefer.

This beautiful handmade multi-media piece would be a great addition to your home. It has the words painted on a bright white background so they pop off the background. The background started with book pages that I then highlighted with a light green and light purple metallic paints. I added 3D flowers made from a beautiful purple and green plaid print and added light green acrylic jeweled flowers in the center. The stems were made from a patterned purple scrapbook paper that I added a light green acrylic jeweled ribbon to give it some more bling. I painted butterflies fluttering on the book pages with the same green and purple metallic paint.

This piece is easily ordered in my Etsy shop (theinspiredartisan17) for $55.

This adorable little jewelry box would make a beautiful addition to a girl or woman's room. She has 3 drawers to store rings, earrings or other little treasures as well as a door with a carousel to hang necklaces and/or bracelets from. This piece was completely sanded and stripped down to the bear wood before I painted a light coat of the aqua color. As you can see from the pics, you can still see some of the wood grain through the paint. I then hand painted some cherry blossoms to the top and front. I distressed the drawers, corners and top in a few places to give her a slightly distressed look. I recovered the glass on the door front with scrapbook paper that has a poem and rose on it. I painted all the hardware copper including the adorable heart shaped drawer pulls. I also added a few embellishments like the metal flower and pearl like dots on top. I applied one coat of poly after I painted and then one more once I was completely done to help protect her and keep her beautiful for years to come.

This piece is approximately 9"tall x 8" wide x 4 1/2" deep. I am happy to send more pictures and discuss possible customization. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I do my best to respond quickly and accurately.

This is a custom memorial piece I did after my son passed away at way to early of an age. At his memorial in Texas at his father and mom 2's house, mom2 had the neat idea to get anger out by throwing coffee cups against a brick wall. I filtered through the carnage and set aside some pieces that spoke to me and brought them home to NC to make something out of them. This piece is one of the ideas I came up with.

I often tell my daughter "I love you to the moon and back". We kinda stole it from Wentworth a few years ago but it has stuck. So I decided to incorporate this saying into my most favorite piece I've ever done and I would be happy to make a piece like this one for you to remember your loved one.

I first painted a blue and purple space like back ground with stars. I then painted a crescent moon shape which I covered with the broken coffee cup pieces in a mosaic style. Once the mosaic was done I painted "love you to the moon and back" as well as the years I was blessed to have my handsome son in this world "1993-2017".

Feel free to contact me with your ideas or pieces and/or phrases that you would like to incorporate into your very own piece. If I feel as if I can do your idea I will gladly keep you informed with pictures and updates so that I can customize the piece to your liking. I would, however, prefer it not to be things that are one of a kind just in case something were to be damaged while trying to work it into the piece hence the coffee cup pieces being a great idea. This particular piece is approximately 43" x 13" x 1" and weighs a little over 10 pounds. Price will vary according to size and work but this piece would be $139.

Can't afford a trip to France? Well maybe this clock can take you there in your mind. I printed old sailing maps out on tracing paper and coupled with a postcard inspired by some famous French architecture. I randomly placed pieces of these all over the piece. Coupled with red jewels, sliver barrels, gears, circles and topped it off with a metal star on top. This would be a stunning piece on a desk, dresser or bookcase.

The main color of the clock is a brownish grey color and then I used some blue sapphire and copper metallic paints for highlights. I finished off with the red jewels to give it a little splash of color.

This piece is 9" tall x 7.5' wide x 3 1/4" deep.
