Happy Birthday, Firefly! 🔥🪰⚡️🫙

Cue the confetti because today marks our 2nd anniversary, and we’re so proud of all the lightning we’ve caught in a bottle so far… and all that’s still to come. ✨

In just two years, Firefly has become a place full of creativity, confidence, community, and so much magic. From productions and tours to classes, camps, and unforgettable memories, we’re incredibly grateful for every student, family, volunteer, and supporter who has been part of this journey. 💛

Goodbye Mary Poppins! We won’t forget you ❤️☂️

Mary Poppins Jr. has officially flown away with the wind… and what a practically perfect way to close out Firefly Creative’s first official season of programming. 🪁

This season’s theme was DREAMS, and together we watched so many come to life. From workshops and classes to tours, productions, trips, and outdoor theatre magic, this year became something truly special.

2025–2026 Season Highlights:
✨ 5,000 audience members
✨ 200 students
✨ 350 GlowFest attendees
✨ 4 productions + JTF
✨ Families from 30 different zip codes

Opening night was a supercalifragilistic success, and we could not be more proud of these incredible K–8th grade performers. From soaring kites to chimney sweeps to a little bit of Disney magic, these students are bringing heart, joy, and wonder to the stage each night.

Come experience this practically perfect outdoor production and cheer on these talented young performers as they accomplish something truly special together.

We’re just TWO days away from opening night of Disney’s Mary Poppins Jr.! ☂️✨

It’s all smiles here, even through rainy rehearsals. That’s part of what makes outdoor theatre so unpredictable and magical. The weather challenges us, brings us together, and somehow always makes the show even better in the end.

Today, our students had a blast channeling their creativity as they spelled out letters just like Mrs. Corry and her talking shop! 🔤

Come see these amazing kids take the stage this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 6 p.m. All performances are outdoors at Woodland Hills Church of Christ, so bring your own chair and settle in for an unforgettable evening under the sky!

We are so grateful for our Mary Poppins Jr. Production Sponsor, Abbey Road Chimney Sweep, for not only supporting our mission, but for showing up in such a meaningful way today!

Abbey Road has been serving the Mid-South since 1978, and they brought a little piece of that history with them — the cast even got to see one of their original chimney brushes. But the highlight? Every cast member got to shake hands with a real chimney sweep… and as the saying goes, “good luck will rub off when you shake hands with one!”

Owner Timothy spent time with the cast, sharing stories and wishing them all a heartfelt “break a leg” before opening night. It was such a special moment that made the world of Mary Poppins feel just a little more real.

Thank you, Abbey Road, for investing in these kids and helping make this production so magical.
