🩰✨ Tiny Dancers, Big Ballet Skills!

Today, our tiny ballerinas are practicing Temps Lié! 💕

Did You Know? đź’ˇ

In French, Temps Lié means “connected movement.” This foundational ballet exercise teaches dancers coordination, balance, and smooth transitions between positions.

đź©° Our Combination:
First Position → Tendu → Demi-Plié in Second Position → Close to First Position.

✨ Stretch, bend, and close!

At Dazzle, we believe repetition builds mastery! One little movement at a time! đź’•

🩰✨ Tiny Dancers, Big Ballet Skills!

Today, our tiny ballerina is demonstrating a beautiful ballet combination: Tendu, Passé, Tendu, and Close to First Position! 💕

Did you know? đź’ˇ

🩰 Tendu means “stretched” in French. The dancer extends the foot along the floor while pointing the toes.

🩰 Passé means “passed.” The dancer lifts one foot toward the supporting knee, developing balance, coordination, and control.

đź©° Close to First Position means bringing the feet back together into the starting ballet position.

✨ Stretch, lift, stretch, and close!

This combination encourages our young dancers to connect multiple ballet movements while developing balance, coordination, body awareness, and muscle memory.

At Dazzle, we introduce ballet combinations through repetition, musicality, and age-appropriate instruction, allowing our tiny dancers to build confidence and improve their technique over time.

đź’• Little steps today, strong ballet foundations tomorrow!

🩰 Plié + Ballet Arms! ✨

Bend, stretch, and beautiful arms! đź’•

Our dancers are practicing plié while coordinating their ballet arms, helping them learn how the upper and lower body work together.

This simple combination builds coordination, posture, balance, and body control while strengthening those ballet basics.

Bend. Stretch. Arms. Repeat. 🩰✨

🩰 Let’s Tendu!

Stretch, point, and close! ✨ Our dancers are practicing tendu, learning to extend the foot while keeping the toes connected to the floor.

This simple ballet movement helps build strong feet, pointed toes, coordination, and control—all while preparing our tiny dancers for more ballet movements to come.

Stretch it. Point it. Close it. Repeat! đź©°đź’•

🩰 Learning Jeté One Step at a Time!

Our floor dots aren’t just colorful—they’re teaching tools! ✨

Today we’re working on jeté, practicing how to transfer our weight from one foot to the other while switching feet.

The dots give our young dancers a visual target, helping them understand where their feet should go, how to shift their weight, and how to stay in control of the movement.

See the dot. Transfer the weight. Switch the foot. 🩰✨

Simple tools + repetition = growing dancers! đź’•

🩰 Staying Strong in Relevé!

Up we go! ✨ Our tiny dancers are practicing relevé in 1st position and 2nd position feet while holding their arms strong in 1st position.

This simple combination helps our dancers work on:
✨ Balance
✨ Strong legs & ankles
✨ Posture
✨ Body control
✨ Ballet positions

We practice it, repeat it, and get a little stronger each time. đź©°đź’•

Strong feet. Strong balance. Confident little dancers!

There’s something so beautiful about a plié. 🩰✨

A gentle bend of the knees may look simple, but it teaches so much — grace, control, posture, balance, and strength.

For our tiny ballerinas, we’re learning that ballet isn’t about rushing through the movement. It’s about learning to move with intention. Soft arms. Tall posture. Beautifully placed feet. And a graceful bend and stretch. 💕

Little by little, repetition turns movement into confidence…and confidence into a beautiful little dancer. 🌸

Plié — bend with grace, rise with confidence. 🩰

🩰 Now We’re Putting It All Together!

In Twinkle Toes Ballerina II, we’re taking the next step in our dancers’ development—combining two familiar combinations into one! ✨

We’ve practiced the movements separately. We’ve added our ballet arms. Now we’re asking our dancers to connect the movements while coordinating their arms and legs together.

This helps our dancers work on:

✨ Coordination between the upper and lower body
✨ Remembering movement sequences
✨ Smooth transitions from one movement to the next
✨ Musicality and timing
✨ Building confidence with longer combinations

The goal isn’t to rush. It’s to teach our dancers how to remember, connect, and perform what they’ve already learned.

One exercise becomes two. Two become a combination. And before they know it, they’re DANCING! 🩰💗
