Per conversation with MBR Owner - Doc (Bill) Hudson,
It is confirmed that this is definitely going to happen!
MBR Execs are having internal staff meetings to decide the best time frame to have the "MBR Music Showcase" opening up to the best of the best of the local and regional talent for a singing competition, with the winner getting a Full MBR One Song Contract. This includes full studio time, songwriters, producer, musicians, mastering, Audio techs, Promotion to radio and TV with guaranteed air play time, distribution and world-wide availability on the release of the single at NO COST TO THE ARTIST! This is different than MBR Feature artist as they have a detailed contractual responsibility of finding band members, gigs, new songs, radio and tv tours, etc... No MBR signed artists are allowed to compete in this competition.
If you have been looking for a break, this is an incredible opportunity for the band, singer, artist, etc... that is looking for that one song opportunity to get you moving forward. MBR will maintain an open option to do a follow up single if everything goes well with the first.
With Doc Hudson's approval, I have included this early notice to also give a heads up to all of you out there that are tuning in and following Muddy Boy Records.
The time frame of the two night contest will be released soon and will be between the end of July and early fall.
Judges for the two night contest will be from the music industry - using song selection, appearance, singing, performance and crowd response as there guidelines.

Pure Destiny Records is gearing up for its "Kingdom Now" Project as they move forward to scheduling artists for their scratch tracks beginning in February. The project will include nearly 20 artists and will have an LP release as well as single releases on select artist. Pure Destiny Records will be utilizing Muddy Boy Records Studios for all of the production phases. "We are eager to get this project further along as soon as we can, said MBR and PDR's Owner, Bill Hudson. We are not looking for traditional gospel music or songs, but more of an individual style that will be recognizable as a symbol of the PDR Brand." PDR Staff - Stephany
