Cumberland Arts Collective Welcome to the Cumberland Arts Collective! This group is not just for artists! Art needs art lovers to prosper.

Our mission is to create a prominent artistic culture in Southeastern Kentucky, bringing joy, creativity and inspiration to artists of all ages and skill levels. We have meetings every month where we brainstorm fun and interactive ways to grow and nurture the artlife in the area.

A special thank you to Lynn and her family for hosting a beautiful casual evening connecting in the arts. We had no formalities and focused on just hanging out and devouring some of the best family recipe snacks that were shared.

We know Fall brings about a lot of events, family time, and Holidays. Just dont forget to take a moment to enjoy the changing season and reflect on all that has been accomplished this year.

Thank you Cinema Social and all the creatives who came out last night for our September Art Local meet up. Speed drawing was a huge hit and brought to life the fun of creating, observing, and socializing in limited time frames.

Creatives found new confidence in their practice and mark making and found just how differently our processes of creating are, proving there isnt just one way to work!

Keep an eye out for a pop up meet up this month discussing thoughts on Ai and art.

This Thursday, Sept.17th from 6pm-8pm is an Art Local meet up at Cinema Social right in City of Corbin.

It will be a fun evening connecting and creating with fellow artists in the community!

For this meet up, Bring a sketchbook and drawing medium of your choice, we will be doing speed portraits! No experience needed, we have fun and learn together!

*please come early and order food if you plan on eating.

Special thank you to Corbin Tourism & Convention for hosting our art local meet up this evening. It was wonderful to learn about the resources available to local creatives and the important role the arts n play in our community, region, and state.

We have an amazing community! Thank you to all the creatives in attendance and continuing our hang out to M&M Rooftop Restaurant.

This is a friendly reminder about the Cumberland Arts Collective Art Local meeting tonight if you can join for the first or second part (or all).

4pm start at Corbin Tourism & Convention

5pm probably move to M&M rooftop garden restaurant nearby to continue to connect with local creatives.
