Thank you to all the amazing creatives that came out to the Art Local meet up at the beautiful amd inspiring Oak Hill Gardens in London,KY.

Our meets ups travel to meet our creatives and communities where they are, promote exploration of our cities, and foster networking alongside creativity.

If you missed it, we missed you! We had a great turn out with many new faces and skill sets. Artists met and then toured the gardens to capture inspiration in a variety of forms.

Thank you again to Oak Hill Gardens for a wonderful evening to gather.

Our next scheduled meet up is July 16th at Miller Park in Corbin,KY, should the weather be too intense for our creatives we will be at Cinema Social.

Please park in the lower lot and take the stair to the venue. You will see a tan truck where parking is permitted.

**Dont forget your art material, a chair, water, and your own snacks.** please bring what you need.

All skills and creative styles are welcome to join us June 17th from 6-8pm for our Art Local meet up. We will have a brief introduction and tour of the grounds. Creatives will be encouraged to explore and find places to create and collaborate for our set time.

Please bring your medium of choice, water, and a chair.

Congratulations Barbara Willingham on a beautiful night in the arts at the Corbin Public Library!

Barbara has a beautiful body of work and spoke about her inspiration and how it is deeply rooted in Appalachian history.

Well done!

Don't forget to stop in tomorrow, June 9th at 6:00 p.m. to view this free appalachian art exhibit with local artist Barbara Willingham! Refreshments will be provided by Friends of the Corbin Public Library. We can't wait to see you there! 🤓🫶

It looks like the rain has finally moved out! The forecast for Thursday night is perfect. Join us in Downtown Corbin for local shopping, dining, and music.

Our EDC will be active, which means those 21+ can purchase alcoholic beverages at participating downtown restaurants to carry over to Nibroc Park for live music!

Grab your food to-go from a local eatery and head over to Nibroc Park. There you can snag a table OR bring a blanket and enjoy a sunset picnic. The Cumberland Arts Collective will have local vendors with items for purchase. Josh Teague will get the music started at 6:30 PM, while our headliner, Sydney Adams, will take the stage with her full band at 8:00 PM. Hope to see you there!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out tonight for a somewhat rained out meet up. But what fun we had till the storms started!

Urban sketching and mingling with fellow creatives at the Whitley County Farmers market in downtown Corbin. Cultivating creative community is what it's all about!

We will try to have a date soon for our roundtable "Art and Ai" discussion.

A quick reminder that our Art Local meet up will be tomorrow starting at Sanders Park and supporting our friends at the Whitley County Farmers' Market .

We will meet at the Colonel Statue and go over urban sketching techniques after a brief introduction. Feel free to bring your medium of choice. *see the attached link for a quick tutorial on urban sketching
