Nolte Companies is thrilled to present another production of DanceWorks at the Vineyard on June 9 and 10! This production will showcase our ballet production, Cinderella, as well as original works created specifically for Nolte Academy dancers, along with a special restaging of an acclaimed contemporary work, Views of The Fleeting World. DanceWorks at the Vineyard will take place at Walker Homestead’s covered outdoor pavilion.

This year, we are excited to announce tickets will be sold as a evening package, each ticket purchase will include admission to watch all works and a meal! With this package, you will be able to watch all seven pieces and enjoy the food, drinks and scenery of Walker Homestead throughout the evening.

Meals are a fixed menu including pizzas with a farm-to-table salad. GF options are available.

**Please note: Tickets for Wednesday, June 10 are sold out. Secure your tickets for Tuesday, June 9 today!**

Ticket Prices: Adult: $75, Youth: $58

It’s RECITAL WEEKEND, and we couldn’t be more excited for the four opportunities our students have to grace ’s stage! On that note, we share our final ⭐️SENIOR SPOTLIGHT ⭐️ of 2026 graduates featuring Lizzie Matthes!

Lizzie has been dancing at Nolte Academy since the age of three. She has been in love with ballet since, and her passion has only grown. She performs in Nolte Academy’s annual Nutcracker, recital, and Danceworks events. Lizzie also has competed in Youth American Grand Prix, American Dance Competition, and Universal Ballet Competition. She is excited to continue her journey in dance at University of Iowa, and plans to work toward a professional career. She wants to thank all her teachers, family, and friends for their support.

Our next ⭐️SENIOR SPOTLIGHT ⭐️ features Lily Schmid!

Lily has been dancing at Nolte Academy since third grade, performing in numerous Nutcrackers and joining the competition team in fifth grade. Over the years, she has created unforgettable memories through late nights at the studio, growing alongside her teammates and learning from her teachers. She is excited to continue her dance career on the UNI Dance Team and looks forward to this next chapter, while always staying grateful for everything Nolte has given her.

Our next ⭐️SENIOR SPOTLIGHT ⭐️ features Sasha Folts!

Sasha has been dancing at Nolte Academy since she was 12. Since then she has had the opportunity to take part in various performances such as the Nolte Nutcracker, Danceworks at the Vineyard, and recitals. She has been a member of Classical at Nolte for four years and attended YAGP and UBC with The Company. Sasha is majoring in pre-pharmacy at the University of Iowa and is planning to keep dancing in college. She is grateful for these opportunities and the Iowa City community that brings together art and science in a beautiful harmony.
