Couple big things happening this weekend. Our Sister Convention Anime Iowa will be held down at the Hyatt Convention center (same place as us these days) and some of our Gamicon Staff will be helping run the board game room there.

Also if you head a little further out of town there is a little thing called Gen Con going on, you may run into staff members running around there as well though that's a little bit larger space so you're really going to have to keep your eye out for them.

TrekFest 41 - June 25th to 27th - Riverside Iowa's, the future birthplace of James T Kirk, celebration of all things Star Trek

Con-Quest - July 17th to 19th - a new Comic Convention is Waterloo, IA, will also feature some CCG tournaments, A Warhammer Tournament and some RPGS.

Anime Iowa - July 31st to August 2nd - Our sister convention, join us in Coralville at the Hyatt for a celebration of Anime, Video Games and Japanese culture.
