The 4thFest fireworks are scheduled to begin at approximately 9:45 pm over S.T. Morrison Park. Can’t be there in person? We’ll be livestreaming it! (Note that Wi-Fi demand in the park may impact the livestream feed).

Happy 4th of July! Enjoy Coralville 4thFest:
🥞 Kiwanis pancake breakfast at the Coralville Recreation Center, 7:00-10:00 am
🎈 4thFest Parade starts at 10:00 am
🛝 Outdoor Adventure & Fun Zone outside of the Coralville Recreation Center, 12:00-5:00 pm
🎡 Petting zoo, carnival, Bingo, food, and vendors in S.T. Morrison Park
🚜 Kids' Pedal Tractor Pull (registration starts at 4:00 pm; event starts at 5:00 pm)
📜 Reading of the Declaration of Independence at 6:15 pm
🎤 Performances by Young Footliters and City Circle Theatre at 6:45 pm
🎺 Iowa City Community Band at 8:30 pm
🎆 End the day with fireworks in S.T. Morrison Park at 9:45 pm!

Due to lightning, this evening’s 4thFest Free Concert 2026: Big & Rich concert, and 4thFest Free Concert 2026: KC Bruner concert, have been cancelled. We’ve held out tonight in hopes that the weather would improve, but unfortunately it wasn’t on our side. Thanks for your understanding, we hope you’ll join us on July 4th for a fun day of events!

Kids, do you have what it takes? Join us for Independence Day fun! 🚜

4thFest Kids' Pedal Tractor Pull at Coralville 4thFest -- it's free!

Pedal power meets competition as kids 80 lbs and under pedal a weighted sled to see who pulls farthest. Eight weight classes, trophies for the top three, and a certificate for every kid who competes. 🏆
📝 Weigh-in/registration: 4:00-5:00 pm (required)
🏁 Tractor pull: 5:00-7:00 pm
📍 1400 block of 7th Street (City Hall parking lot east entrance, near 14th Avenue & 7th Street)

Heads up, 4thFest, it's feelin' hot, hot, hot...but we've got you covered with two hydration stations on July 3 and 4! 💦

Refill your own water bottle at hydration stations located near 7th Street on the northeast side of the City Hall lawn in front of City Hall, or along 5th Street between the Coralville Public Library and Fire Station #1. 🇺🇸☀️

A big shoutout to City of Coralville Fire Department and Johnson County Homeland Security & Emergency Management Agency - Iowa for helping keep us cool and safe!

Coralville Fire wants everyone to stay hydrated and have a safe and fun time during 4thFest!

Water filling stations provided to us by Johnson County Homeland Security & Emergency Management Agency - Iowa will be available at the fire station for anyone needing to refill their water bottles. Check out the map to see where they will be located.

Please note that cups will not be provided, so make sure to bring a water bottle with you. You are welcome to stop by and refill throughout the 3rd and 4th! Stay cool, stay hydrated, and enjoy the celebration!
