SIX CARDS, THREE DESIGNERS, AND A WHOLE LOT OF FIGHTING SPIRIT! 🥊🎮
Our Street Fighter inspired release is bringing some serious creative energy to the craft table! Today, we're excited to share six fantastic card creations from our very own Kevin Beck, along with our talented guest designers Randy Nguyen and Timothy Thomas! 💥
One of our favourite things about this release is seeing how each designer brings their own style, colour choices, and creative techniques to these action-packed characters!
💛 KEVIN BECK
Kevin went bold and colourful with his first creation, combining a bright yellow and black frame with a playful background filled with action bursts and arcade-inspired elements! The staggered character placement adds movement and gives the design that classic video game energy.
For his second card, Kevin created a completely different atmosphere with a Japanese-inspired scene featuring a torii gate, bamboo, and a dramatic sunburst background. The layered scenery adds depth while keeping both characters front and centre!
💙 RANDY NGUYEN
Randy brought the retro gaming experience to life with his first card! The vibrant blue pixel-inspired background and perspective grid create an incredible sense of depth, while the overlapping characters and carefully placed sentiments make the entire design feel like a scene straight out of a video game!
His second creation takes things to another level with a dimensional arcade cabinet! Featuring Chun-Li kicking her way right out of the screen, this clever design combines bright blues, purples, and pinks with playful dimension for a wonderfully nostalgic arcade feel!
❤️ TIMOTHY THOMAS
Timothy's creations are bursting with personality, colour, and texture!
His first card combines a brick wall background with retro arcade patterned paper and bold yellow-to-red ombré "FIGHT!" lettering. The character's placement adds plenty of attitude while allowing all those fantastic background elements to shine!
For his second design, Timothy paired a weathered wood background with colourful pixel graphics and a blue perspective grid. The brilliant turquoise hair and warm orange and yellow colouring create a striking contrast, making the character really pop against the background!
✨ THREE DESIGNERS. SIX UNIQUE CREATIONS. ENDLESS INSPIRATION!
From layered scenes and dimensional elements to bold colour combinations and creative backgrounds, these cards show just how versatile this release can be!
We want to give a huge thank you to Randy and Timothy for sharing their incredible talents with us, and to Kevin for adding his own creative spin to the collection! 💕
