How do you colour BLACK without losing all the detail?

I’ll show you how I use different Copic grey families to create separation, depth and visual interest in an outfit made primarily of black and very dark tones. We’ll explore how Cool Greys, Neutral Greys and Toner Greys each behave differently and how the right choices can keep a dark image from looking flat or becoming one solid mass.

A little gothic romance with our NEW Gothic Frame Die. 🖤🌹

Kevin created this beautifully moody card using the Gothic Frame Die from our August release, Forever Wonderfully Weird!

The ornate frame takes centre stage, paired with a dramatic silhouette, deep burgundy tones, candlelight, roses, a spiderweb and layered patterned papers to create an eerie, romantic Victorian feel.

We especially love the ivory frame against the darker background. It really shows off all those intricate details and proves just how much of a statement this die can make on a card!

Welcome to the wonderfully weird side of crafting!

Introducing Forever Wonderfully Weird, our brand-new August release inspired by the strange, heartfelt and iconic world of Edward Scissorhands!

Guest designer Randy Nguyen and our Marketing Director, Kevin Beck, are showing just how many different creative directions you can take this collection.

Randy created a colourful neighbourhood scene featuring Edward, Peg, Jim and the adorable puppy, followed by a dramatic gothic portrait framed in gold with rich blue curtains and candlelight.

Kevin embraced vintage gothic elegance with a moody, layered silhouette design, then moved outdoors for a bright garden scene featuring Edward, Kim, the puppy and an incredible dinosaur topiary. He also used the new Topiary Stencil to build the layered garden background, adding even more depth and greenery to the scene!

From colourful characters and sweet garden moments to elegant gothic designs, Forever Wonderfully Weird is filled with endless creative possibilities!

Introducing Forever Wonderfully Weird!

Our brand-new August release has arrived, inspired by the wonderfully strange, heartfelt and iconic world of Edward Scissorhands!

To introduce the collection, we’re showcasing four incredible card designs created by our talented guest designer, Randy Nguyen, and Stamp Anniething Marketing Director, Kevin Beck.

Randy’s colourful neighbourhood scene brings Edward, Peg, Jim and the adorable puppy together beneath the perfect “You’re Cut Above the Rest” sentiment. His second card reveals the collection’s dramatic gothic side, framing Edward’s silhouette in gold with rich blue curtains, candlelight and a wonderfully mysterious atmosphere.

Kevin’s first design embraces vintage gothic elegance with deep, moody colours, layered florals, candlelight and an ornate silhouette portrait. His second card moves outdoors, pairing Edward and Kim with the sweet puppy and dinosaur topiary to create a bright garden scene centred around the heartfelt sentiment, “You’ve Shaped My World.” Kevin also used the new Topiary Stencil to create the layered garden background, adding even more depth and greenery to the scene.
