Dancing with the UMiami Stars http://miamiballroom.webs.com/dancing-w-the-um-stars Miami Ballroom has brought the hit show, Dancing with the Stars, to the University of Miami!

With our own twist of course ;)

Each Spring Semester, we bring together some of the biggest names on the UM campus to learn amazing ballroom routines and compete against each other for our own version of the Mirror Ball Trophy. There is also one latin and one standard winner that our profession judges decide on, and the audience decides the overall winner that will walk away with the trophy. The

show also includes not only dance routines from our stars, but also our very own Mad Hot Miami Ballroom Dancesport Team and some of UM's hottest dance groups. We sometimes even bring in professional ballroom dancers to perform for us. Dancing with the UM Stars was biggest student-organized event thrown in the past two years and has won the Excellence in Programming-Performance Award at UM's SOAR Awards, it is surely one you don't want to miss. DWTUMS 2015 has officially been rescheduled!!! The competition will now take place on Thursday, April 23rd at 7pm!! We'll be in the SAC Center Ballroom so the rain can't even think about stopping us!! Mark your calendars today so you don't miss this awesome event!!!
