Please don’t ask for October. She full. 😳🍂
Heads up, I take the entire month of October and dedicate myself to something that means so much to me: Amburn Mountain Farm. ❤️
Photography is a huge part of who I am, and I truly, genuinely LOVE taking pictures. My clients mean so much to me, and I never want anyone to think otherwise.
October is the one month out of the year that I intentionally step back from photography and pour my time, energy, and heart into the farm. There are extra animals to care for, pumpkins to pick, hayrides to run, people to welcome, countless little details to prepare, and memories to make.
Amburn Mountain Farm is so much more to me than a business or a source of income. It’s something I’ve poured my heart into, and October is when I get to fully live it out.
And yes, I KNOW October is a beautiful month for pictures!
But here’s something people sometimes forget: peak fall color in North Georgia doesn’t necessarily happen in October. More often than not, the most incredible color can happen during the last week of October and the first couple of weeks of November—though, of course, God does whatever He wants. If you insist on October, it’ll probably have to be someone other than me! I’ve got a great list of fellow photographers who would love to get you in their books.
Thank you to everyone who supports both sides of what I do—the photographer and the farm girl. Your support means more than you know. 🥹❤️
Now… if you need me in October, you’ll probably find me covered in dirt, chasing goats, driving a tractor, picking pumpkins, or yelling, “WHO LEFT THE GATE OPEN?!” 😂🐐🎃
*** if you are already booked for October, I’m not canceling your appointment! I just have no room to take on anything else!
