LJ Go, Guitar Teacher 🎸

My musical background started with piano, where I learned how to read notes and understand music fundamentals. In my early teens, I picked up the guitar and taught myself how to play. I really enjoyed the feeling of being able to play songs I liked. That experience kept me motivated and helped me grow my passion for music. I also played guitar in my high school band and choir, continuing to build my skills through performance.

As a beginner guitar teacher, I strive to create a fun, relaxed, and encouraging environment where students can build confidence, learn fundamentals, basic chords, and songs you actually want to play.

Check out our adorable youth-led band, The Heartbeats! They are comprised of our private students gaining real performance experiences in front of live audiences!

We love to have them perform for our community, even more so when it’s something that will help others. Come catch our amazing Heartbeats on May 2nd at The Cove Theater as they open up a showcase benefit concert to raise funds for an ADA accessible ramp for a local small business.

We’d love it if you’d consider supporting them, cheering loudly, enjoy amazing live music from several local acts, and love your neighbor!

Our deepest condolences to Officer Garretson’s loved ones and to the Copperas Cove Police Department.

It is with profound sadness that we confirm the line of duty death of Officer Elijah Garretson, badge number 118.

At our request, the Texas Rangers are conducting an investigation into an officer involved shooting that occurred on January 10, 2026, which resulted in the on-duty death of Officer Garretson. The suspect was later located, and following a lengthy negotiation attempt, the suspect took his own life.

As we begin to navigate this incredibly difficult time, we ask for understanding and patience as our department, Officer Garretson’s family, and our law enforcement family grieve this tremendous loss. Out of respect for all those affected and the ongoing investigation, no further information is being released at this time.

We ask the community to keep Officer Garretson’s loved ones and our department in their thoughts and prayers. 🕊️💙🙏🏼

A message from the owners:

Rainbow Heart Studio exists to support creativity, community connection, and active civic engagement. These values are foundational to who we are and how we show up for the people we serve.

At this time, due to actions by the City of Copperas Cove government that we believe undermine or silence citizens who participate meaningfully in civic engagement, Rainbow Heart Studio will no longer associate with, partner with, or contribute to city government affiliated events or initiatives.

This decision was not made lightly. We believe a healthy community depends on open dialogue, mutual respect, and leadership that welcomes, rather than discourages, citizen involvement. When those principles are compromised, we feel a responsibility to pause our participation and reassess where and how we lend our energy.

Our commitment to the people of Copperas Cove remains unwavering. We will continue to invest in artists, musicians, families, students, and grassroots community efforts that uplift voices and foster belonging.

If, in the future, city leadership demonstrates a genuine commitment to respecting civic participation and valuing the contributions of its citizens, we are open to reconsidering collaboration. Until then, we must act in alignment with our conscience and the values that guide us here at Rainbow Heart Studio.

Today we honor the artists who came before us and paved the way. Rest in peace Rudy Calooy.

Let's take a moment to celebrate the life of a true icon, Rudy Anthony Jr Calooy, whose incredible legacy in the Central Texas photography and Art community will continue to inspire us all. Your breathtaking murals around the bell county area will forever be a testament to your genius. It was an absolute honor to call you my friend. Your memory will be a blessing that will continue to uplift us all.
