UPDATE: Due to the inclement weather, ALL Copper Guitar Town sets will now be in the Bighoorn room for the remainder of the day. This includes the entire lineup comprising of Mark A Tribute to Mark Selby, Stig Mathisen, Steve Fister Band, Guitar Army feat. John Jorgenson, Lee Roy Parnell and Joe Robinson, Walter Trout and Samantha Fish. This is the same location as the morning workshops.

Merchandise, beverages and Guitar Center Guitar Giveaway will also be available in Kokopelli’s Trail., just outside of the Bighorn Room.

We are one week out from Guitar Town 2019 and for our finial Featured Artist Friday we are highlighting the beautiful and talented Rhonda Vincent. Vincent has a been a staple of the country and bluegrass scene for decades, and is known for her accomplished mandolin playing and outstanding singing/songwriting. While she has won countless awards throughout her career, most recently her and her band have been nominated for four International Bluegrass Music Association awards as well as two Grammy’s including ‘Female Vocalist of the Year’ and ‘Collaborative Recording of the Year’ for her duet with Dolly Parton. It’s Featured Artist Friday again, and we are looking at one of the best contemporary blues guitarists on the planet, Samantha Fish! Fish grew up in Kansas City, MO playing drums and guitar and seeing many touring blues acts at the Knuckleheads Saloon. Her first album, ‘Live Bait’, came out in 2009 and quickly caught the attention of the record companies, producing ‘Runaway’ in 2012 which won her the Best New Artist from the Blues Music Awards. She has since been extensively touring North America and Europe and even collaborated with the legendary Buddy Guy leaving quite the impression on him. Her new album, ‘Kill or Be Kind’ is set to be released this August. Fish says about the album, “Overall my big goal, career-wise, is to contribute something different and new to music. Featured Artist Friday is back with the once in a lifetime talent of Joe Robinson. Robinson hails from New South Wales, Australia and has been a part of Guitar Town on and off since 2012 as the youngest regular to perform for the event. But don’t let his age fool you, his style, chops, diversity and songwriting are second to none. After playing piano as a child, me moved onto guitar at age 10 where he quickly out grew his teacher and continued to teach himself to the point where just 3 years later, he won the Australian National Songwriting Competition. His career quickly started to take off recording albums and winning various music and talent competitions year after year. This year he is releasing his seventh album ‘Undertones’ and will be featured at Guitar Town in the Guitar Army with John Jorgensen and Lee Roy Parnell.
