The Professional Prep Program at Ballet Academy of Texas is designed for dedicated dancers who aspire to reach the highest levels of classical ballet. Through expert instruction, individualized coaching, and a curriculum focused on developing strong technique, artistry, and performance quality, our students are prepared for the next step in their training—and beyond.

Fifteen Professional Prep Program alumni are currently dancing in professional careers, performing with ballet companies across the world. At Ballet Academy of Texas, children ages 3–10 are introduced to classical ballet through a carefully structured curriculum that builds confidence, coordination, musicality, and proper technique from the very first class.

Our Children's Division provides a strong foundation through each stage of development:

• Creative Ballet (Age 3)
• Pre-Ballet (Age 4)
• Primary Ballet
• Level 1
• Level 2

Rather than simply teaching movement, we focus on age-appropriate ballet technique that prepares each dancer for continued success as they progress through our Academy. Every class builds upon the last, creating the strength, discipline, and artistry that become the foundation for a lifetime of dance.

Registration for the 2026–2027 Ballet Academy of Texas Season is NOW OPEN!

We can't wait to welcome our dancers back for another year of exceptional training, growth, and inspiration!

New this season: We're excited to welcome back our entire Academy faculty, with Walker Martin joining us on select weekdays for Levels 2–8!

📅 Important Dates
• July 13 – Registration opens for Summer Students
• July 20 – Registration opens for Returning & New Students
• August 10 – Classes Begin
• August 16 – Ballet Ensemble of Texas Auditions
• September 8 – Professional Prep Program Begins
• September 12 – Mandatory Nutcracker Parent Meeting
• September 19 – Nutcracker Auditions

Beginning July 13, our Creative Ballet, Preballet, and Primary Ballet dancers will dive into a magical underwater adventure filled with dancing, imagination, crafts, music, and ocean-themed fun. From shimmering sea creatures to underwater treasures, it’s the perfect way for young dancers to spend a summer week at the studio.
