It’s almost here! The Bay Area Fun Festival celebrates the ending of a great summer. Don’t forget to stop by the Rotary Cruz Show ‘n Shine on your way Downtown. It’s also a big year for the Prefontaine 10K and kids Run. Enjoythe parade and live music while visiting Vendor row.

If you are a registered vendor, you should have received a confirmation email from our President Beth.

VENDORS: Beware of scam emails that ask you for money to register. The CBDA does not solicit for vendors. Currently, we are full. If you have questions, contact the CBDA office at 541-404-7271. Or visit the information/registration booth.

Have a classic car and thinking about registering for the Coos Bay-North Bend Rotary Cruz & Show ‘n Shine… but you didn’t get it registered? That’s okay. Registration is Tonight from 5:30 to 7:00 pm and tomorrow from 8:00 to 10:30am at the Mill Casino. Cruz registration is open at 4:15 pm at 2nd Street downtown Coos Bay Saturday afternoon. Cruz starts at 6pm. These are free public events to view. Join the Coos Bay-North Bend Rotary and check out all the beautiful vintage vehicles.

Bay Area Fun Festival is this weekend. There will be several road and parking lot closures to accommodate the mall market, Prefontaine Runs, Parade, and Cruz the Coos. Closures begin Friday, the 20th and continue through Sunday, the 22nd. Be Aware, Be Kind, Allow Extra Time to get to your destination... but most of all Remember, It's all for Fun! Join us at events throughout Oregon's Bay Area!

Join us for the greatest party to wrap up summer, the Bay Area Fun Festival in its 44th year! It takes place on Saturday, September 16th and Sunday the 17th in downtown Coos Bay. Enjoy all of the fun activities including our famous Parade, shopping at the Mall Market, a tasty Food Court, the Cruz the Coos, Prefontaine Memorial Run, the Pre-Run for Kids and Live Entertainment.

The Fun Festival Parade will wind through the streets of downtown Coos Bay starting at 1pm. Watch to see which floats will win the best executed theme of "Under the Sea in 2023!"

The 42nd annual Prefontaine Memorial Run is exciting and brings people from all over the globe to the bay area. This 10K run honors Coos Bay's native son, Steve Prefontane who changed the running world before his untimely death. The run follows his traditional running route and is scheduled for 10am on Saturday the 16th. The Pre Run 5K starts at 9:45am on Saturday. The Pre Run for Kids will take place on Sunday the 17th at 1pm.

If you enjoy vintage automobiles, you will be in heaven at the Rotary Cruz the Coos and Show 'n Shine sponsored by the Coos Bay - North Bend Rotary Club. The Show 'n Shine takes place at the Mill Casino Saturday from 11am-3pm. The Cruz The Coos will take you back to those happy days of the 1950's. Up to 500 classic cars and trucks will take to the streets of downtown Coos Bay Saturday starting at 6pm. Bring your chair and listen to classic "cruisin' tunes".

Throughout the festival, enjoy the music while you visit local craft and food vendors. The music features some of your favorite local bands and new bands from a far as well.
