Due to COVID-19 the staff at Bicoastal Media would like to know if you all would like to move forward with the annual Soundwaves competition? If we do so, we will do it virtually. We will set up times with contestants to come to the studio and meet with 2 members of our staff and record auditions, and competitions. We will go live here and upload videos to our websites where contestants will then be voted on. We need to know first if contestants would be interested in this. Please let us know either way so we can move forward. Thank you so much everyone. ❤️Kristi

After months of performances by talented local musicians the fifth annual Soundwaves has come to an end.

Y’all we made a total of $1394.51 the season to be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. we would like to think each and everyone of our contestants who entered. Without you this would not have been possible. Way to help fight childhood cancer Coos County!!!! We cannot wait till next year!!!!

If you don’t have plans tomorrow night please, please, please come to our Soundwaves finale. Someone will win $2,000 and the promises that we made during our radiothon are coming true. Barry will dye is hair brown and gold (Thank You North Bend for calling in and making so many generous donations so I didn’t have to dress in purple and gold), our Cranberry Queen will be singing on stage, and lastly I will have pie smashed in my face. $7 to get in. All proceeds go to St Jude. Then, for $1 a piece you can purchase raffle tickets to get entered to win the chance to smash the pie in my face!! It’s going to be a night a full of good music, good people, and good fun!!!!
