DJ Curley Sue is a true professional who was very well prepared, and handled this situation like a champ.

But, honestly, I feel that circumstances like this are where couples can take too much advantage of their DJ with last-minute changes after we planned everything so meticulously.

We spend a lot of time before the wedding to make sure every last detail is exactly what the couple wants. And frankly, even if we can accommodate such a last-minute change, the couple disregarding all of our prep work like this is something that I personally find disrespectful.

This isn't just about rolling with the punches. This about your DJ putting in a lot of effort to make everything perfect, for nothing, because now you suddenly want something else.

That is no way to treat those who already went above & beyond for you. And, no, your money is not enough to make up for it.

As a DJ, I have had both good and not so good experiences throughout my career. And I will not pretend that either myself, nor any client or fellow vendor, is infallible.

If you ever ask me where I might have fallen short on a job, I will happily offer an example, and explain how I now make sure that it never happens again.

I will also give examples of where others have fallen short on their end, where not even my best efforts could have fixed, nor saved, the situation.

I will absolutely keep talking about everything that goes right. But, if that's ALL you want to hear about, I'm not the right DJ for you.

My open perspective and being able to see things from all sides is one of my greatest strengths that I am very proud of. And I will not leave out any "negative" parts because they might make someone uncomfortable.

I'm a DJ you come to when you want both great entertainment and a real human being. If all you want is fairy tale delusion, I wish you happy shopping.
