Leatherwork takes a lot of both physical & mental energy when producing quality products. Just ask anyone who has been doing leathercrafting by hand without high tech machines for a few years.

We serviced our local area for 17 + years.
Folks who bought recognize quality and longevity plus durability of our products.

But as time went by, the repetitive work takes a toll on the body and the recent economy has fallen. A few months ago we made the decision to take care of our health first and foremost.

This decision upset a few individuals.
Others understood with compassion.

In this decision, we allowed our product to be sold by another vendor at the market. He understands the work involved and honors our pricing format. He does not own the leather products.

What I do not understand is WHY people expect him to "CUT" our prices which are already extremely low for the quality & craftsmanship being made available.

We have allowed our products to continue being able to be purchased locally with the opportunity to still have custom work made by us the crafter simply by calling us directly and placing an order.
Once the stock is gone at the market, our future products will be sold on-line only at competitive pricing to match todays ever growing inflation rates.

Public Service Announcement:

In case you havent heard ...

DR LEATHER is OFFICIALLY SEMI-RETIRED.

You can still purchase items made by DR LEATHER at booth 109 at the Hwy 111 Git-R-Done flea market until stock is sold out.

Andy Montgomery is in charge of SALES of current stock.

No longer will REPAIRS to leather be done at the market. If you are in need of repairs you must contact me directly and make arrangements to either come to our shop OR you are free be in touch with another leather crafter as there are many out there.

We will continue taking special orders but these must be placed directly with me, the crafter.
No acceptions!

Andy will give you my contact number BUT he will NOT be the one to take your orders for leather products...

Andy's specialty is cutting boards, candy dispensers &
wood crafts and is an expert in his field.

UPDATE: Effective Feb 20th, 2026

DR LEATHER has MOVED to a new location at the FLEA MARKET!

We have joined forces with Andy, the woodworker in booth 109.

You will continue to be able to purchase our leather products there. Andy will be able to properly size an IN STOCK belt for you should I not be available.

There's more good news is:
I will continue to create Quality Leather products by commission from my workshop! You can either contact me direct or place an order with Andy and he will get your request to me.

As always, should you need me, I'm just a phone call away!
