The masters behind our Shakespeare in the Park performances are coming together this Saturday at noon to share their knowledge with the community!

How do you arrange light design in an outdoor setting? What needs to be considered when building a set that will be exposed to the elements? What difficulties does an actor or director face when working outdoors rather than inside?

Find out the answers to these questions and more at our Outdoor Theatre Professionals Panel this weekend presented by Leisure Services!

The professionals panel is free to attend and open to all ages. Call (931) 518-1313 if you have questions

Shakespeare in the Afternoon: All's Well That Ends Well

Join Cookeville Leisure Services and Plenty Downtown Bookshop for the 3rd Annual Shakespeare in the Park Book Club as we explore William Shakespeare's All's Well That Ends Well, this fall’s production in Dogwood Park. Led by Shakespeare in the Park director Sam R***r, this engaging discussion offers a deeper look at the play's characters, themes, and story before it comes to life on stage.

The discussion will take place Saturday, September 26, at 2 p.m. at Plenty Downtown Bookshop, located at 41 W. Broad St. Copies of All's Well That Ends Well are available for purchase at Plenty Downtown Bookshop. Whether you're a longtime Shakespeare fan or reading the play for the first time, all are welcome to attend.
