All of the donated proceeds from Art Love have been counted and we are so happy to announce that the grand total for our second event was $1259!! 🎉 Thanks to the generosity of for the use of their space, our participating artists, and the amazing people who came to see us, we were able to raise a tremendous amount of money for ! Thank you so, so much to everyone who came out to support us and our cause! Please continue to support the trained advocates and SANEs at ASPIRES and their efforts to make our campus community a community that listens, aids, and protects assault survivors! 🩵

Bidding is from 4-8pm (Central Time) on Saturday, August 26. Bids must be entered in comments on the individual photos in the album to be valid! You can also bid in person during that time at 42 W. Broad Street. If shipping is required, an additional fee will be charged. Please bid in comments only on the ORIGINAL photo post. Bids on shared photos and posts will not be considered. In person bids will be entered as they occur. Art Love will contact winners starting at 8pm on Saturday, August 26 to arrange pickup or delivery.

Thanks to the generosity of our participating artists, Helping Hands of Putnam County will be getting nearly TRIPLE our original fundraising goal!! We are absolutely ecstatic about this and so thrilled that our inaugural event was such a success. Thank you to everyone who came out to show your support. You helped us make such a positive impact in our community!! ❤️

WOW! ✨ Last night was amazing!! We had such an amazing turnout, our vendors were fantastic, the auction was fabulous, and we doubled our goal for Helping Hands of Putnam County!! ❤️ The money is still coming in, so stay tuned to see our final numbers! We're already well over $1,000!! Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who came out to support our very first event! You made the day so special! Thanks again to the for lending us the perfect space for Art Love!

Lewis Matheney is a children's book writer and illustrator whose cartoons and poems have been featured in four children's books, including "Ice Cream Dreams" by multi-award-winning poet Karla Kuskin. His cartoons have been exhibited at The Chrysler Building, Venu Gallery, and Paradisus 121, and Formerly Gaga Gallery (all NYC), and his photographs have been exhibited in NYC and the Museo de Arte Contemporaneo (San Juan, Puerto Rico). He was named one of the "Top 100 Cool New Yorkers" by "Daily News" newspaper, NYC, and he resides in Cookeville and NYC.

"I love releasing my extreme levels of energy into my drawing, infusing my drawings and writing with humor, allowing for a free flow of love from within me into what I draw, then watching as people (mostly children) are energized, release energy of their own, laugh at the humor in my drawings, and actually feel the love they see in the images. Of equal importance is knowing and hearing from them that they feel compelled to share these elements with others, and that they actually do it."
