"I think love is just the most important thing..." So says Lola in Douglas Moore's opera Gallantry! Central Arkansas friends - this Valentine's Day, rather than dinner and a movie, try dinner and an opera! This weekend the UCA Opera will present two comic one-act operas: The Audition and Gallantry. They're great and funny shows, and will feature performances by Rob Holden and yours truly! Join us at 7:30 PM each night in the Windgate Concert Hall on the UCA campus!!

It’s happening!! Eclipse events have kicked off at UCA, and Opera Theatre is joining in on the fun! This Friday & Saturday at 7:30 PM, the UCA Opera Theatre will present Too Many Sopranos by Edwin Penhorwood. Come see the tenors and basses be “eclipsed” by our four Divas as St. Peter seeks to complete the Heavenly Choir!!

"Total Eclipse of the....MEN??" Central AR friends, the UCA Opera Theatre will present Edward Penhorwood's comic opera Too Many Sopranos next weekend, April 5 & 6! Too Many Sopranos is the story for four sopranos who have died, but are told that there is only room for one new soprano in the Heavenly choir! Performances begin at 7:30 each night in the Windgate Center for Fine and Performing Arts Performance Hall on the UCA campus. Ticket prices are $10 for adults; $7 for seniors 60+ and active military personnel; $5 for K-12 students. UCA faculty, staff, and students get in free with UCA ID. While some of the characters are men, there are indeed...Too Many Sopranos! Come join the fun!
