There’s something special about the Faulkner County Fair. The lights, the livestock, the smell of a fresh corn dog, kids showing animals they’ve worked with all year, families gathering together, it’s the heart of small-town America. 🇺🇸

From the Faulkner County Fair Pageant to the LEGENDARY Parade, the fair is where memories are made and traditions are passed down from one generation to the next.

As we celebrate America 250, we’re proud to honor the traditions that built this country and the agricultural roots that continue to shape our community today. From the barns to the midway, this year’s fair theme is a celebration of hard work, patriotism, family, and the American spirit.

We are honored to support these young students as they continue their education and pursue their future goals. Your hard work, leadership, and dedication have not gone unnoticed, and we cannot wait to see all you accomplish.

We also want to encourage students to apply next year! Scholarship applications for the 2027 Faulkner County Fair Scholarship Program will open in September. We look forward to continuing to invest in the future of our community.

BIG NEWS for our Faulkner County Fair poultry show this year — we are adding a turkey division! 🦃

We’re really excited to be able to offer this opportunity to our 4-H and FFA exhibitors during this year’s fair. In order to get cages ordered and make sure we have enough room for everyone, we need a rough count of how many turkeys exhibitors are planning to bring.

If your child is interested in showing turkeys at the fair this fall, please fill out the JotForm linked by June 1st with the number of birds they plan to show.

Congratulations to Dr. Jerry Wooley of Vilonia!!

National FFA VIP Citation Recipient! 🌟
Congratulations to Dr. Jerry Wooley of Arkansas, who was recognized at this year’s National FFA Convention & Expo with the prestigious National FFA VIP Citation!
Dr. Wooley is a dedicated leader in agriculture, with a strong passion for promoting and educating others about poultry science. Since joining the National FFA Poultry Evaluation Committee in 2000, he has continued to champion excellence in the field. Even after his retirement in 2009, he has remained committed to ensuring the event reflects current industry needs.
Thank you, Dr. Wooley, for your outstanding service and dedication to agricultural education and the FFA!

MEETING WILL BE HELD IN BUILDING LABELED FEED STORE

Mark your calendars! The Faulkner County Fair will have its annual “wrap up meeting” regarding all livestock shows, livestock procedures, etc.

If you are a livestock committee member, or committee chair for any of the livestock divisions— you won’t want to miss this!

Meeting will be held November 4th, at 6:00PM. It will be held at the Conway Cowboy Church. 🤠
