Ladies and Gentlemen, Herman Munster has left the building. He has moved on to a new job working for our dear friend and supporter, Butch Patrick. He has moved to Indiana Beach to be a greeter at Butch Patrick and Tom Devlin's new business venture, Eddie's House of Monsters. If you don’t know Tom Devlin, look him up; he is a very talented special effects artist. We are excited for this new venture and wish them the best.

We traveled to Ft. Lauderdale for summer vacation last week. We went to the new jellyfish museum in Pompano Beach. Did anybody else see the pinball bumper cap look-alike, or was I just seeing things? I'll also share some pictures of the Silverball Arcade in Delray Beach in my next post. The arcade is awesome. Thanks to all the people who came to see us at FLASHBACK over the weekend!

Flashback to that boat ride that was only supposed to be a 3 hour tour! I'll still never understand how the professor was able to make so many things but couldn't fix a hole in a boat. Anywho, looks like a rainy weekend so come on down where its dry and spend some time flipping with us!

We're excited to have Butch Patrick's famous Schwinn chain bike on loan for a few weeks, modeled after the original one that custom car builder Van Dutch put together for Eddie Munster himself in the 1960s. Although the chain bike didn't get any screen time in The Munsters, it was used by Butch to pedal around the Universal lot and visit people and shows like Alfred Hitchcock, McHale's Navy, and Wagon Train between takes. Come see us this weekend for some classic family fun. We're open Friday from 5-9 and Saturday from 12-9.

A little background on Alex: He was born and raised in Conway. He graduated from Conway High School. His hobbies include sport biking (motorcycles) and anything related to science. He grew up on pinball and vintage arcade games and happens to be the grandson of Chris the Wizard. (More on Chris soon.) Alex remembers going on service calls with his grandpa when he was a young child; he told me he recalls visiting a couple of bars and pool lounges in Morrilton back in the day. He said he can still taste and smell the cigarette smoke. Who knows, we may have some of those very games at FLASHBACK today. He has been with us since day one, and we are proud to say so. He really enjoys getting to know the customers and loves to teach them how to play the games. So, we invite you to come on out, introduce yourself to Alex, play some games, and maybe even get your name on the high score board.
