I’m a firm believer that your house should be a place where you have fun and share your personality—and since we’re all staying home right now, this is a great time for it! The first three pics are from a client’s room, and the rest of the photos are in my own home. I’ve also thrown in a couple of photos from our old house involving duck tape and a sharpie. Let’s look at another easy project. I bleached this denim fabric instead of tie dying it—it was easy and I love the look. One side of the fabric was dark denim and the other was a lighter chambray. Swipe for a few more pics and follow the link in my profile to see more details!

Happy Thursday! Here are a few more side tables. Painting small dressers and changing the k***s makes such a big difference...and sometimes, like the last one, just changing the k***s and restyling totally changes the look.

More side table love:: for bedside tables I love to use a small desk. The first picture is one I sanded down to raw wood, painted the cubbies, and wallpapered the back. For the turquoise one, the client already had this one and I simply painted the handles and found a chair to coordinate with the rest of the room. For the last one, I gave it a new coat of white paint to match the other side table. Changing k***s is also an easy update.

How about we make this the week of side tables? Here’s another easy one for you: Find a tree that’s down, have someone cut slices for you (get several of these, I promise you’ll use every last one!) buy a house and use a very nice loan officer like who also gives housewarming gifts like metal baskets, turn your basket upside down and place wood slice on top. Easy peasy side table!
