🐝 Our September Calendar Is Finally Live! 🐝
There may still be a few minor tweaks, but our September schedule is complete and the registration links are live! As details are updated, the information at the link will be updated too.
September is packed with creative workshops, open-studio opportunities, and some truly amazing collaborations. With the gift-giving season approaching, this is a wonderful month to create something special for your home—or make a meaningful handmade gift for someone you love!
Here’s some of what’s buzzing into the studio:
💐 K&K Creates will host a Resin Bar where you can create your own wearable resin art.
🧸 Nancy Silvers is returning for our final Cuddle Buddies Service Project Workshop. Nancy previously brought us the Upcycled Pumpkin Workshop, and we’re looking forward to continuing with new monthly service projects.
🧁 One Sweet Cookie Bakery will teach us how to decorate adorable Highland Cow cupcakes while sharing buttercream piping techniques, fondant details, and other helpful decorating tips.
🧙♀️ Weir Craft Company is bringing an amazing Sanderson Sisters macramé project to the studio! If you’re a Hocus Pocus fan, this workshop is right up your alley—and I am so excited about it!
🎃 MH Designs will teach us how to assemble a 5-by-5-inch mini layered shadow box. Choose either a pumpkin or jack-o’-lantern design—both are perfect for fall!
🎨 We’re also partnering with The Bee Happy Plaster Company to bring small plaster-painting projects for kids into the studio. You may have seen these adorable kits popping up all over Facebook Marketplace! Children can choose a project and paint it here using our paints and kid-sized brushes. Special plaster-painting opportunities are planned for September 5 and September 19, and kids can also paint available projects during Open Studio.
✨ Our new Crushed Glass Resin Projects are here too! We have a workshop scheduled for September 5, but these projects can also be created during Open Studio whenever supplies and designs are available.
Wondering what Open Studio means? It simply means you can buzz in and choose your own project to create! Paint a door hanger, complete a smaller project, make a doormat, create a crushed-glass piece, or bring the kids in to paint. No scheduled class is required.
We currently have several Open Studio dates planned for September. Occasionally, a workshop with no registrations may be changed to Open Studio or made available for a private event. So, if there’s a class you really want to attend, please don’t wait to register!
And please don’t worry about being the only person registered—I will still hold the workshop for you. Once someone has registered, I won’t cancel simply because the class is small, barring an unavoidable circumstance.
The studio will be closed on:
• September 12 while I participate in the Sewickley Harvest Festival from 10 AM–5 PM
• September 26 while I participate in Economy Community Days in Economy Borough
September is going to be buzzing with creativity, and I can’t wait to create with you!
I’ll share the complete September calendar link with this post. You can also find all of our individual events under the Workshops section at The Busy Bee Creative Studio's Website or in the Events on our page.
Open the Facebook event for the workshop you’re interested in, and you’ll find a direct link that will take you to our website to select your project and complete checkout.
