WOW, what an amazing evening Saturday turned out to be! The Parks and Rec Commission extends heartfelt gratitude to our community for making our fourth Military Band/Fireworks Community Giveback event a resounding success. We owe a tremendous debt of thanks to everyone who contributed:

First, a huge thank you to the 10th Mountain Division's Band! Their extraordinary music had everyone singing and dancing all night long. We are deeply grateful for their service to our country and are so appreciative of their talent - they rocked it!

We also want to express our appreciation to American Fireworks Display, LLC for the spectacular fireworks show they provided. They do a great job and it gets better every year!

Thanks also to Brawdy Family Maple Farm for their generous donation of that fabulous red white and blue tent and seating for our soldiers to rest.

A special shout-out goes to the Constantia Volunteer Fire Department for joining us at the park for the event and for their dedication to our community.

Our gratitude extends to Missy Schortemeier and Northschorty Catering for the delicious meal provided to our soldiers, as well as to Momma's Brunch Buggy, Rick's Polar Pops, Uptown Dogz, and Sunshine's Treats & Eats for offering fantastic food to the crowd. Everything was delicious!

A heartfelt thanks to our Parks Staff for their efforts in maintaining order, and to Joann Wines, Ryan Watrous and Jenna Murray for their work in the office on Saturday, and to our lifeguards for keeping everyone safe.

We are also thankful for Bob Wines, Supervisor Ron Chapman, and Vern Zehr for their help with parking. They kept everything flowing smoothly!

Special recognition goes to Mike Whitney and the entire Highway Department for their ongoing dedication to keeping the park beautiful year-round.

Thank you to the Town of Constantia Supervisor and the Town Board for their support of the park and its programs.

And last but certainly not least, THANK YOU to our incredible community for your unwavering support and for coming out to enjoy the park with us! It was a wonderful night filled with fun, families, friends and community!

Today is the day! Our annual Fort Drum Military Band concert and fireworks day is here! Pray for dry skies! Here are some details for tonight:

PARKING:
Please do not park in the main parking lot. That’s where our food trucks will be, and the fire trucks also. We need to keep it clear in case the fire trucks have to get out for an emergency. If you park there, you will be asked to move. Please park in the upper field - there will be parking attendants there that will be happy to help you get parked. There will be a handicap parking area that they will direct you to.

THE BEACH/PLAYGROUND:
The beach and playground will close around 5 or 5:30 - we have to rope off a large area to keep us safe from fireworks debris.

FOOD TRUCKS:
We are so honored to have four food trucks this year! They will be located in the main parking lot in front of the bathhouse. Thank you to Momma’s Brunch Buggy, Rick’s Polar Pops, Sunshine’s Treat and Eats, and Uptown Dogz for bringing their amazing food for us all to enjoy. Please support them and grab something yummy!

THE BAND:
The band will start playing between 7:45 and 8 and will play until the fireworks start!

THE FIREWORKS:
They will start right around 9:30!

Our Military Band/Fireworks event is tomorrow! Check out this year’s tent, generously donated by the Brawdy Family Maple Farm! Due to their generosity, the Fort Drum Military Band will be performing in comfort and style! Be sure to check them out if you are looking for a tent/party rental or some local maple syrup!
