Today we celebrate the day when the news of freedom and emancipation was proclaimed to the enslaved people of the South. This Juneteenth, join The Players Theatre Company and the Heritage Museum of Montgomery County for a powerful theatrical celebration of freedom, resilience, and hope.

Oh, Freedom brings history to life through three moving stories set during pivotal moments on the journey from slavery to emancipation in Texas. Through courage, sacrifice, and determination, these characters illuminate the human experiences behind one of the most important milestones in American history.

1776 Hits The Town!
Recently cast members of the upcoming production of 1776, the award-winning American musical, have been turning up at the most interesting places, including The Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce Monthly Luncheon and The Conroe Noon Lions Club Lunch.

Where will they appear next? Who knows? But you can be sure to see them on the Owen Theater stage beginning Friday, June 26 when 1776 premiers.

This powerful original work, written and performed by Whitney Shelton, explores stories of courage, resilience, and the pursuit of freedom, highlighting an important chapter of Texas history that deserves to be remembered and shared.

The residents of Carriage Inn of Conroe reminded us what community is all about. ❤️

During a special 60’s-themed dance event, residents presented The Players Theatre Company with a generous donation of $1,240 raised through their annual car show fundraiser.

Every year, Carriage Inn residents select a local non-profit organization to support, and we are deeply honored they chose The Players this year.
