KIDS ART CAMP- Session 2
This is not a repeat of Session 1. There will be different techniques and projects at this session.
REGISTRATION IS OPEN:

This camp is best suited for children ages 7-12. They will learn oil swipe painting, pour a resin animal, work with crushed glass, create Picasso face masks, learn to use Shrinky-D***s and create a beach scene with resin. On Wednesday, I shared the beautiful cross that I was given as a gift for my service to others. The man who makes these beautiful crosses refuses to ever sell them. He only gifts to honor others.
We talked about how art can be a way to honor someone special.
I asked them to decide who they would gift the cross to that they were about to make. I taught them decoupaging and they completed their crosses and wrote on the back who they were giving them to. I got busy and failed to get any pictures of their beautiful crosses. Van (my grandson) chose to give his to his parents so I captured a picture of it.
I hope they will continue to bless others with art.

Our last day of Art Camp. Michele Hines Shrieve volunteers with the MC Master Gardener Assoc and taught them to make bird feeders. Then we celebrated a great week with a pool party. The kids swam and had chocolate sundaes. What a fun way to end the week. I enjoyed working with these kids and they were already asking about another camp. Probably going to set up one for the last week in July.

Day 4- Kids Art Camp
Learned about Picasso and Cubism today. Worked on Picasso Face Masks, Added some stencils to oil swipe, melted our Shrinky D***s.

Day 3 Kids Art Camp
Busy day-
- Finished out the Ocean Pours now just need to resin coat them. - Conquered the Shrinky D***s!!!
-Made bookmarks with alcohol inks.
-Prepped our canvas boards for Picasso projects
- Did some Oil Swipe paintings.

DAY 2: Art Camp
Demolded the animals they poured, Learned to decoupage, poured some resin flowers, Made some Shrinky D***s- work in progress. Will give this another shot later this week.
So thankful to have Michelle helping out.

DAY 1 Art Camp- We did sponge painting, acrylic paint pouring, and poured resin animals. What a great group of kids! Looking forward to tomorrow!
