(Only have a few students, 5 or 6 at a time, hey, I'm retired. These few make everyone proud.)
(Not in Montgomery Creek Ranch but graduated from Grand Oaks HS, but came for lessons here.)
Ok,, I need to give a shout out to Elizabeth Howard, my piano, and NFMC harp student. She is going to Texas Tech. She is also getting "paid" to play in the Lubbuck symphony orchestra as a step in as needed. She has only been on Lubbuck this semester! She came home for Christmas holidays only to be found playing last Sunday with the Woodlands Symphony Orchestra! The Christmas Concert! I was lucky enough to be able to attend. Anargenis Howard and Phillip Phil Howard are two proud parents!

Students in the picture... Nita and Nevin Kuttarrapillil are in their 1st and second year at UT Austin..... Plus Straight from Montgomery Creek Ranch to UT Austin, Aldo Villanueva... Well, just a bit of studio gossip, truth! Ya'll remember Aldo, my piano, clarinet NFMC student? Well, I just heard that after this his second year at UT Austin as a aerospace engineer and music major he will be moving on next year! Next year, his junior year, he will start his internship at Cape Canaveral Space Center, Fla. We are all so very proud of this young man. I also heard he is sporting facial hair now. hee, hee

Advent Week 1, Vigilant Hope

Isaiah 2:1-5 NIV (Isaiah's Vision)
1 This is what Isaiah son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem: 2 In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. 3 Many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. 4 He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. 5 Come, descendants of Jacob, let us walk in the light of the Lord.

Good Morning folks. Today, teachers sign up for NFMC memebership for 2005. I have been a NFMC teacher for 15+ years. I have been a festival chair 10? of those 15. If you are a teacher that needs musical goals that your students will love this is the way to go. My Tejas FMC-Junior/Senior has 18 teachers presently. Contact me if you are interested. Students, if you need a teacher to represent you in this club contact me.
