A huge thank-you to the Texas Commission on the Arts for their support of Celebrate America. ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Grants like this make it possible for community orchestras like ours to mark once-in-a-generation moments โ€” like America's 250th birthday โ€” with the kind of music it deserves.

We're proud. We're grateful. And we can't wait to share this concert with you on June 27.

There's something about a patriotic concert that stays with you long after the last note. The standing ovation. The lump in your throat during the Armed Forces Salute. The cannon fire you feel in your chest.

We're doing it all again โ€” and then some โ€” on June 27 for Celebrate America, our season finale honoring America's 250th. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
Were you there last year? Drop a ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ in the comments. ๐Ÿ‘‡

๐ŸŽ–๏ธ Behind every note of Celebrate America is something bigger than music.

"In the context of the United States Semiquincentennial, it's a reminder that the freedoms being celebrated didn't just happen in the past โ€” they've been carried forward by real people, many of whom are still part of the community." โ€” Gary Liebst
