Conroe Symphony Orchestra

Conroe Symphony Orchestra The CSO, established in 1997, delivers outstanding orchestral musical performances to the community.

The CSO is comprised of the:Conroe Symphony Orchestra; the Conroe Symphony League; and the Conroe Symphony Youth Orchestra. The CSO organization includes more than 225 volunteers who provide support for the presentation of five classic concerts, major fundraising events, youth orchestra activities and educational outreach programs.

🎶 Joining us on "God Bless America" and more — soprano Renée Rybolt!

Soprano Renée Rybolt enjoys a diverse and dynamic career as a soloist, ensemble singer, conductor, and educator. While living in Houston, she has performed with numerous prestigious professional choirs, including Cantare Houston, the Houston Chamber Choir, Cameron Cody Chorale, Harmonia Stellarum, and is one of the longest standing members of the Houston Bach Society. Renée has also been featured as a soloist with several other renowned Houston-area ensembles, including Ars Lyrica, Mercury Chamber Orchestra, and ROCO. She has recently sung as an ensemble member with Spire Chamber Ensemble in Kansas City, Missouri, soprano soloist in Handel’s Messiah with the Mennonite Choral Society in her hometown of Berne, Indiana, and had the opportunity to sing a rarely performed work, In Green Ways by Herbert Howell’s, with Skagit Symphony in Mount Vernon, Washington.

Renée received her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Saint Joseph’s College and Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from Southern Illinois University. She has a small private voice studio in the Katy area where she lives with her husband, and two children. She is thrilled to be invited back as guest soloist with the Conroe Symphony Orchestra!

Featuring Allan Quiat (tenor), Fred Welsh (lead), Clarke Bean (baritone), and Randy Rensi (bass), this group has performed with award-winning choruses including the Houston Tidelanders, Space City Sound, the Statesmen Chorus, and Vocal Majority.

🎖️ Please welcome our emcee: Lt. General Steven A. Hummer, USMC (Ret.)
A retired Marine Corps lieutenant general, Lt. Gen. Hummer commanded U.S. Marine Corps Forces Reserve and Marine Forces Northern Command, served as Deputy to the Commander for Military Operations at U.S. Africa Command, and completed combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

His decorations include the Defense Superior Service Medal (four awards), the Legion of Merit (three awards), and the Bronze Star Medal.

We're honored to have him guide us through this special evening. 🇺🇸
