🎃 Don't Be Scared! Halloween at Hen & Chicks Studio Is More Cute Than Creepy! 👻🧡

Before we jumped into today's Halloween fun, I shared something very close to our hearts. Our sweet staff member, Stacey, is fighting cancer, and her treatment options are becoming fewer. ❤️

I'm asking our Hen & Chicks Studio family to surround Stacey with love, prayers, encouragement and well wishes. Please leave a message for her in the comments. I know she'll be reading them, and I want her to feel just how much she's loved and supported. ❤️

🍁 The Beauty of Letting Go… and Embracing Change! 🍂

This morning during my live, I shared a poem about autumn, changing colors, and the beauty of letting go. And it got me thinking about how much this applies to quilting, too!

How many times have you started a quilt with one fabric or color in mind, only to discover that something else might work better? Sometimes we're hesitant to change our plans, but that unexpected change might make our quilt even more beautiful! ❤️

Just like the trees welcome new colors each fall, we can welcome new possibilities in our quilting projects AND in our lives.

Change doesn't always mean starting over. Sometimes it simply means seeing things differently and trusting that something beautiful is ahead.

🍁 There's beauty in becoming, and joy along the way.
