Sassy Peacock Events LLP has been in contact and will be working with our Fayette County Free Fair Association Connersville IN to organize a location at EXPO HALL for a pickup and drop off for supplies/clothing once the main bridges and roads have been cleared and opened for travel. We anticipate that will not be till sometime tomorrow (Friday).

** Please watch our pages and this post for updates **

If you're willing to volunteer help private message one of us and we will reach out once we have a plan together.

** Please do not just show up at EXPO HALL until you hear from us as this had to be a well organized event for everyone's safety **

*** UPDATE FROM Conn Cpd Det at 9:10am Thursday morning ***

🚨 INFORMATION 🚨 we have emergency crews working and “ROAD CLOSED” signs posted. They are there for a reason and we are asking you to please STAY HOME and stop driving into our working areas. We have had numerous people drive through signs to come up and take pictures (of which there are a ton on Facebook already). You are creating more hazards by even being out, let alone driving to the areas we ask you not to.

Remember, we are on a Red - Travel Advosry, so there should only be EMERGENT traffic out.

For those who have emergent traffic or essential work out of town, we have learned that State Road 1 North to US 40 is now passable. We cannot advise conditions beyond that, however, the other road closures are still in effect and will be updated as possible.

Connersville's JULY 4th the 250th Anniversary Celebration Event flyers are all here in one post with the information for this magnificent once in a lifetime event. You don't want to miss this!!

** TOLER BROTHERS TO BE HONORED AT JULY 4TH USA 250TH CELEBRATION CONCERT AND FIREWORKS **

Chad Frank Mayor of Connersville will read a proclamation and honor remaining members of the Toler family including Don Toler who toured with the Gregg Allman Band working the road, in honor of Danny and Dave prior the the concert.

Bring your chairs, your appetite and be ready to have a fun filled evening in our beautiful downtown.
You may also watch the fireworks from the Babe Ruth little league field and there is a map below with a lay out for parking and traffic flow.

*** You will be able to view the fireworks from anywhere downtown and the surrounding area ***

The City of Connersville, EDG and the Festivals Committee would like to thank all of our sponsors, volunteers and everyone who has worked so hard or to bring our community fireworks back for all to enjoy.
