Traditionally we've always opened the Haunted House the last Saturday before Halloween. This invites the chance for the weather to cancel the big night. This year we're contemplating opening October 19th with a back up night of the 26th in case the 19th doesn't happen for some reason.
What are YOUR opinions out there on opening for the 19th this year folks?

Well, the forecast totally came through! We're crossing our fingers that you all made it to those pre-Halloween shindigs, celebrations, Trunk-or-Treats, or whatever spooky soirées you had planned, all while staying toasty and having an absolute blast last night. Costumes, candy, and a whole lot of fun were the order of the evening, and we can't help but look forward to the main event on Halloween itself. The Haunted House of Conifer is an eerie thrill that's always free for guests, but it's more than just a fright fest – it's also a chance to help our local community. This year, we have chosen to support the Intermountain Humane Society (IMHS), an organization deeply dedicated to the welfare of local animals. As you brave the haunted maze, you can also contribute to a cause close to your heart. Donations can be made at the event via the drop box provided by IMHS or easily through their website. Finally painted today!

Rich, Dale and Pat came over yesterday and helped with all the things I couldn't do by myself. Thanks guys. Lots of progress getting things together. Christina and Pat get extra love for doing the dirty job of cleaning up. Rich and Dale say the chapel in like the halloween clown car; never ending while emptying it out!
