A quick but important update from Saturday’s poker run:

Community means showing up for each other when it matters most.

After talking with my brother and the rest of Saturday's poker run winners, we have unanimously decided to pivot all of the money raised to benefit the Phillips family during this incredibly difficult time.

Randy and Jamie have been proud supporters of the Columbus Junction community and the LMPR. It’s our turn to give that support right back. Thank you to everyone who came out and made this donation possible. Please keep the Phillips family in your thoughts.

What a day!

My heart is so full looking back on everything. A massive thank you to all of our incredible stop hosts for opening up your homes, lawns, and hearts to welcome the Greatest Show on Grass (LMPR6).

A huge shoutout to Pearl (Tanya McDowell Wilson and Chris Weyrick) for providing the perfect soundtrack along the route. Your musical talent is masterclass, and you kept the energy alive all day long!

A major tip of the hat to the Guad Food Truck for whipping up some of the best food in Southeast Iowa. Having you there to feed a hungry crowd at the end of such a fun day was the ultimate treat.

To the 125 participants who joined us: thank you. Your energy and community spirit made LMPR6 our absolute best year yet.

But what made yesterday truly unforgettable was how a fun day turned into an impromptu fundraiser for a cause closest to my heart—the Casey M. Jay Cancer Foundation. Because of your incredible generosity, we raised over $1,500 to benefit lymphoma research and support Iowa families fighting this disease.
